MAYOR’S MESSAGE
Gerard Hudspeth City of Denton Mayor
As we look forward to the holiday season and the end of 2022, I encourage you to take a moment with me to reflect on the previous year and appreciate what a great city we live in. This past year, I have been particularly thankful for the opportunity to get back out in the community at our events and programs to see and talk with all of you.
This coming year, I invite you to join me and my family in exploring all that Denton Parks and Recreation has to offer. Celebrate the holidays at one of our upcoming special events found on page 6. Need a night out with your special someone? Drop the kids off at the Civic Center for Kid’s Rock and let them enjoy a night of fun with friends while you enjoy a night off. Or maybe just enjoy a stroll through one of our parks or trails.
There are so many ways to PLAY in Denton and I look forward to seeing you in our parks in 2023. Thanks for your continued support of Denton Parks and happy holidays.
