ELIZABETHTOWN — What happens when you expect a winter wonderland, and just one week from Christmas, it’s more Miami than the North Pole? Officials and residents along the tour will be preparing to welcome the guests in their communities. “Cycle Adirondacks had such a positive influence,” said Mark Hall, former town supervisor of Fine, where cyclists traveled last year. “Economically it was a real boost, but even more important was that it brought our community together in a way that nothing else has – it galvanized our pride in where we live, and that effect has lasted beyond the event.” In Old Forge, officials reported seeing par >> Story Continued | pg. 21
