TICONDEROGA Ñ Congratulations to the Class of 2015! This weekend will mark the culmination of a 13 (or 14, if there was pre-kindergarten) year journey for local high school students. Below is a listing of local graduation ceremonies:

Celebrate america!

Moriah Central School will kick off commencement ceremonies locally with graduation set to take place Friday, June 26, at 6 p.m. in the school auditorium. Diplomas and awards will be given to members of the graduating class, along with speeches from class valedictorian Madison Stahl and salutatorian Sarah Burbank. Superintendent Bill Larrow will welcome students and audience, while the commencement speech will be given by former teacher, Dayton Dedrick.

Celebrate Independence Hague

HAGUE Ñ The Independence party gets started a day early in the town of Hague, where fireworks and a concert will take place Friday, July 3. The Music in the Park Series will take place starting at 6 p.m. in the Hague Town Park. Those attending are asked to bring their own lawn chairs to enjoy an evening of music. At around 8:45 p.m., the fireworks will begin. For more information, go to visithague.com.

SCHROON Ñ The hamlet of Schroon Lake will be abuzz with activity in celebration of Independence Day with activities lasting well into the evening Saturday, July 4.

TICONDEROGA Ñ The Best 4th In The North Committee, a subcommittee of the Ticonderoga Montcalm Street Partnership, announce the schedule for the 2015 Best 4th In The North Celebration. The celebration will take place Wednesday, July 1 through July 4, with a grand fireworks display, parade, the Montcalm Mile, as well as a variety of live music, food, vendors, rides, games, and much more throughout the four day celebration. The Best Fourth in the North Celebration attracts many visitors to the Ticonderoga area every year, which supports many local businesses and the local
