Man assaulted in Lake Placid

katherine@denpubs.com LAKE PLACID — A group of six downstate New York men have been charged with allegedly assaulting a Lake Placid man on Friday, Sept. 7, according to the Lake Placid Village Police. The incident took place on Main Street at 11:30 p.m., and the six individuals were taken into police custody at midnight. The men each face charges of felony second-degree gang assault and felony second-degree assault. The victim, a Lake Placid resident whose name the police would not release, sustained serious physical injury and was taken to Adirondack Medical Center in Lake Placid for treatment. The victim was later released. Police could not comment on the extent of his physical injuries. Those charged with the assault were: Perry S. Gusikoff, 46 of Lagrangeville; Anand Sahadeo,
