SARANAC LAKE — Village workers and contractors are making progress on their infrastructure work, including the sanitary sewer and drinking water system improvement projects, road paving and sidewalk reconstruction. The water main installation work is complete, according to a statement released by Saranac Lake village officials on July 3. In June, workers connected the water main pipes from three village roads to pipes underneath adjoining state highways. They were: McClelland Street, at the intersection of Broadway (Route 86); Route 3 near Pine Street; and St. Bernard’s Street, on both ends — Church Street (Routes 3/86) and River CONTINUED ON PAGE 5
