By Alan Belford thevalleynews.org SARANAC LAKE — The offices for the village of Saranac Lake have a new home half a block up the road in the Harrietstown Hall. Two biotech companies, Myraid-RBM and Active Motif, will occupy their old location. The move was done piecemeal to allow the offices to function as normally as possible while in transition. The offices officially shut down at noon on Thursday, Jan. 12, and reopened in their new digs at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 13. Tuesday, Jan. 17, was their first full day of business at their new location. “It was a time-consuming, labor-intensive process,” village treasurer Paul Ellis said, “but it has gone pretty smoothly.” The move was spurred
