Story on Swiss TV SARANAC LAKE — Swiss national television, RSI - Radiotelevisione svizzera, aired a 3-minute news story on the late Dr. Rene Joyeuse on Christmas Eve with scenes from Saranac Lake and Arlington National Cemetery. Swiss born Joyeuse, a highly-decorated World War II hero and medical pioneer who spent the last 25 years of his life in Saranac Lake, requested his remains be buried at Arlington National Cemetery. That request required special authorization by the Secretary of the Army, however, because Joyeuse was not a U.S citizen while he fought for the United States.
