Community dinner slated TICONDEROGA — Kiwanis Club of Ticonderoga will hold its spring community dinner on Thursday, May 5, at the Methodist Church in Ticonderoga from 5 to 7. Take-outs will be available at 4:30. Menu items include a pork, turkey, and ham carving station, lasagna, delicious desserts, and more. Tickets, $10 for adults and $5 for children under 12, can be purchased from Kiwanis members or at the door. Funds raised at the dinner will be used for various children and youth activities in the community.

fred@denpubs.com TICONDEROGA — Proposed changes to the Ticonderoga zoning law will be presented during a public hearing Tuesday, April 26, at 7 p.m. at the Ticonderoga Community Building auditorium. “The hearing will include a presentation on the work of the town zoning revision committee and its efforts to make Ticonderoga’s zoning law more comprehensive, clear and precise,” said Brandy Saxton of PlaceSense, a Port Henry planning firm that has assisted with the project. “The committee has incorporated public comment from previous meetings into the law, particularly with regard to the shoreline areas,” Saxton said. “The law
