James LaDuke rolled a 729 series (279) for the Chiefs, while Ben Alberry added a 669 series (248). Joey Guido rolled a 682 series (244) for the Indians, who also received a 675 series (268) from Kyle Mendofik and a 652 (237) from Jonathan Bowman. Ashley Rock rolled a 542 series (210) for the Lady Chiefs.
Beekmantown 8, PHS 2 Beekmantown 3, PHS 1 The Eagles were able to roll past the Hornets in both boys and girls matches Jan. 14. Eric LaBonte rolled a 682 series (248) to pace Beekmantown, with Mike Deyo adding a 660 series (245), Cody watts rolling a 621 series (219) and Andrew Roberts rolling a 618 (245) series. Josh Shaffer led the Hornets with a 672 (235) series. For the girls, Taylor Lavalley rolled a 645 (231) series to pace the Eagles. Peru High School’s Daniel Lennon dominated the 1,600-meter run at the indoor track event held Jan. 15 at the Plattsburgh State Field House. Lennon finished first with a time of 4:49.8. Lennon also won the 1,000-meter run and 3,200 relay during the meet. Lennon had a more than 30-second lead over his competitors in both the 1,600-meter and 1,000-meter events. Photo by Justin Prue

nett fired a 259 game and 666 series. Landon Gosselin had a 210 game for the Cougars. NCCS won the girls match, 4-0.

The Patriots blanked the Vikings in both matches Jan. 14. Sean Pulsifer rolled a 515 (187) series in the boys victory, while Jimmy Provost added a 491 (201) series, Jeremy Wood added a 444 (179) series and Zach Snow rolled a 441 (190) series. For the girls, Jessica Bacon rolled a 326 (112) series, while Jaylynn tender had a 115 high game.

Kolby Sample started the night out by pinning Daniel Papa at 112, and the Bobcats cruised to a victory Jan. 14. In a match that saw eight forfeits, the next match was at 145, where the Bobcats Justin Kellett scored a pin over Kodie Simpson. Forest Carpenter then pinned Jonathan Luxon at 152, followed by Matt Lashway pinning Roger Howerton at 160. Jordan Bouyea scored the lone win for the Patriots at 171 with a 10-2 major decision. Bobcats Bryant Fortin and Mike Riley then scored an 11-7 decision and a tech fall, respectively, for the Bobcats.
Varsity indoor track The Peru and Saranac boys and girls indoor track and field teams scored victories during the two meets that were held Jan. 15. Daniel Lennon scored three victories to help pace the Indians to a win, while Ashley Leta also scored three wins for the Indians on the girls side. James Rock scored a win in the triple jump for the AVCS Patriots.
