NEWCOMB Ñ Newcomb Central said goodbye to its class of 2015 at a commencement ceremony held in the schoolÕ s auditorium on Saturday, June 27. The processional, performed by the NCS Handbell Ensemble, welcomed the graduates, faculty, family, friends and community members to the ceremony through their renditions of Ò Pomp and Circumstance,Ó followed by Ò The Star Spangled Banner,Ó and the schoolÕ s alma mater, for which they were joined by the audience in singing. Superintendent Clark Ò SkipÓ Hults then stepped up to the podium to introduce the graduating class and to give his address.

JOHNSBURG Ñ Johnsburg Central said goodbye to its class of 2015 at this yearÕ s commencement ceremony held in the schoolÕ s gymnasium on Saturday, June 27. The ceremony opened with the traditional processional, accompanied by the Senior BandÕ s rendition of Ò Pomp and Circumstance,Ó followed by the national anthem. Once the graduates were seated, faculty, family and friends were welcomed by the 2015 salutatorian Terence Allard. Following the pledge of allegiance, led by class secretary Laura Richards, Superintendent Mike Markwica inducted five alumni and one community member into the schoolÕ s hall of fame: Judge Timothy C. Murphy (class of 1946); Jeffrey A. Baroudi (class of 1971); Raymond E. Tucker (class of 1982); Thad T. Osterhout (class CONTINUED ON PAGE 2

denpubs@denpubs.com NDIAN LAKE Ñ On June 27, Indian Lake Central Schools Class of 2015 consisted of 15 graduates: Jessica Lyn Brown, Sheaanna-Nicole Callanan, Joseph S. Corrow, Joseph Austin DeShaw, Cynthia Anne Gagnier, Rudolf A. Giessen III, Sadie Valentine

Hilts, Zachary Philip Joyce, Joshua Brian King, Ashlyn Victoria Knight, Victoria Elizabeth Moore, Kelsey June Pierson, Alexis Rae Seery, Cheyenne Cassidy Wilder and Shawn Allen Zahray. denpubs@denpubs.com MINERVA Ñ The day was beautiful and the evening was very pleasant. In fact, it was an excellent time for a graduation event. Minerva Central School took full advantage of this by having a fine commencement ceremony for the Class of 2015, with pomp,

circumstance, lots of humor, lots of solemnity, and a bakerÕ s dozen of graduates. It was the schoolÕ s 90th commencement ceremony and it was very nicely accomplished, beginning with a processional, ending with a recessional, with the middle filled with music, speeches, and presentations.
