NORTH CREEK Ñ The Ò Adirondack Attic Musical History TourÓ is coming to the Tannery Pond Community Center Sunday, April 5, at 3 p.m. Tickets are $12 for adults, and kids 12 and under get in free. Author and host of North Country Public RadioÕ s Ò Adirondack AtticÓ Andy Flynn of Tupper Lake will join Adirondack folk singer Dan Berggren of Olmstedville for a multimedia presentation that mixes folk songs with stories and images from the archives of the Adirondack Museum. FlynnÕ s Adirondack work began in March 2003, when he started a column across several newspapers in which he would select an artifact from the Adirondack Museum in Blue Mountain Lake, research it and tell its story. Eventually Flynn compiled his stories into six volumes of books, and he now continues his research as a radio program, for which he travels to museums across the Adirondacks in search of new artifacts to bring to light. Flynn says his inspiration for the project stems from his desire to show to the world historical objects that would otherwise go unseen. Ò I wanted to track down these objects and tell their stories,Ó he said. At the presentation, Flynn will read selected stories from his books and display photographs of the corresponding artifacts. Flynn will be accompanied by Berggren performing historical and original Adiron-

Forest Rangers find body in Indian River INDIAN LAKE Ñ The body of Michael S. Curry, age 64, of Indian Lake, was recovered from the Indian River on March 30, at approximately 8 a.m. Curry was discovered by New York State Forest Rangers downstream from the Abanakee Dam. The circumstances surrounding his death are being investigated by the New York State Police.

On March 29, at approximately 9:54 p.m., State Police in Ray Brook were notified about a missing, distraught person in Indian Lake. They were also notified that a family member had located the missing personÕ s vehicle parked near Lake Abanakee Dam in Indian Lake off Chain Lakes Road.

State Police and State Forest Rangers responded and engaged in a search detail in an attempt to locate the missing man. Hamilton County Coroner Virginia Jennings pronounced Curry deceased, and the body was removed and transported to Nathan Littauer Hospital where an autopsy was scheduled to be performed.
