jgrybos@denpubs.com WEVERTOWN — The Tannery Pond Community Center will get an added line to its north-facing sign, and the U.S. Postal Service r esponded to the town board's letter of support for the Riparius post office at the Oct. 4 town meeting. Elise and Woody Widlund sent corr espondence to the board noting that visitors to the town might be mor e inclined to visit the W idlund Gallery inside the community c enter i f t he g allery w as advertised a little better. To r ectify this, the W idlunds of fered to add to the sign on the north face of the building, which now r eads “Tannery Pond Community Center,” so that passers-by will also read “and Widlund Gallery.” The installation will be done at the W idlund's expense. Daniel Cronin, post of fice operations manager from Albany, also sent correspondence to the board. The town passed a r esolution to support the Riparius post office when they hear d it was up for closure, and sent a letter to the Postal Service to that effect. According to Cr onin’s r esponse letter, the Postal Service is still reviewing the future of the of fice, taking
