Olympic Car Showcase returns Sept. 3 The annual Olympic Car Show & Parade will return for its 32th year
LAKE PLACID — The 34th annual Olympic Car Show & Parade in support of the Lake Placid Ski Club will be held on Sunday, Sept. 4th, at the Olympic Speed Skating Oval in Lake Placid. This event is a major fundraiser for the Ski Clubs children ski education programs. On Saturday, Sept. 3, a “cruise night” will be held where the registered participants will meet for a BBQ dinner. At 8 p.m. the cars will cruise down Main St. and around Mirror Lake.
Wilmington WildÊ Forest
On Sunday, Sept. 4, all pre-registered car show entries will parade through Main Street Lake Placid at 11:45 a.m. Judging will begin at noon at the Olympic Speed Skating Oval, where the parade ends. The cars will remain on display for spectators viewing until the awards ceremony at 4 p.m. Spectators’ admission is $4 per adult and $1 for children under 12. Please note, dogs and bicycles will not be allowed anywhere on the Oval Campus in order to protect the beautiful paint jobs on the show vehicles.
