Teen suspect arrested in bogus crash call case By Thom Randall thom@denpubs.com WARRENSBURG — A bogus report of a serious rollover crash radioed in recently to county emergency dispatchers sent rescue personnel scrambling, and now police believe they’ve arrested the perpetrator. The Warren County Sheriff ’s Office reported Monday Nicholas D. Jones they arrested Nicholas D. Jones, 18, of Lafond Way, Minerva on a Misdemeanor charge of third-degree Falsely Reporting an Incident. On the evening of March 14, the Warren County Sheriff ’s Office Communications center received a radio report from

LAKE GEORGE — George Green of Lake George walked down Canada St. amongst 60 or so parishioners of various area churches gathered to join the Stations of the Cross procession on Good Friday through Lake George. Green said this dramatic reminder of Jesus’ suffering prior to his crucifixion held significant meaning not only for those marching, but also for the community at large. “This brings out the moral integrity of our community, this keeps us rolling,” he said. “It’s tough in a tourist area to keep this spirit — but events like this are a real sign of faith.” The citizens in this fourth annual procession were from not only the four local churches in Lake George Village, but area towns without particular church affiliations. Pastors of the churches said the event symbolized the ecumenical spirit in Lake George — that despite different religious traditions, spiritual unity prevailed, they said. The procession’s participants began at Sacred Heart church, with Berardi reading scriptures referring to Christ’s agony in the Garden. They walked several blocks, in a procession behind a series of volunteers carrying a cross, to the Old
