Ticonderoga Bill Grinnell, Deb Malaney and Steve Whitford are seeking to become the next Ticonderoga supervisor. Grinnell will be on the Republican line in the November general election, where heÕ ll face Malaney, who has filed as an independent, and Steve Whitford, also an independent. Grinnell won the Republican primary Sept. 10, garnering 153 votes to defeat incumbent Deb Malaney. Malaney got 85 votes. Malaney is a two-term incumbent. Whitford is a town trustee. The candidates faced off in a candidateÕ s forum Friday, Nov. 1, at 7 p.m. in the Community Building auditorium. The forum was moderated by Walt Lender and Margaret Lauman.
