INDIAN LANDS & CONSERVATION TRAIL 485 Main St., South Dennis. 25 acres of woodland and marshes. FRESH POND CONSERVATION AREA & DOG PARK 27 acres, 6/10 of a mile from the light at Upper County Road in Dennis Port on Route 134 going south. There are two fenced-in areas for dogs to run. Three usable trails. WHITFIELD JOHNSON NATURE TRAIL End of Forest Pines Drive off Route 134 in East Dennis. It is a circular trail approximately ¾ mile.
SEA VIEW PARK RECREATION AREA Off 475 Lower County Road in Dennis Port. A 17-area park/playground with .8 miles of public trails and access to the beach. SWAN POND OVERLOOK Overlooking Swan Pond. Route is approximately 1 to 1½ miles. CAPE COD RAIL TRAIL BIKE PATH Trail begins at Route 134 across from Hall Oil Company in S. Dennis. This extensive trail stretches eastward (approximately 24 miles) into Wellfleet and westward to Yarmouth.
JOHNNY KELLEY RECREATION AREA AND BRAILLE TRAIL At corner of Bob Crowell Rd. and Old Bass River Rd., South Dennis. A 25-acre park including a 1 1/4-mile circular route with interpretive signs for the visually impaired. CROWE’S PASTURE CONSERVATION AREA Off Route 6A by the Dennis/Brewster town line. About a 2 ½ -mile circuit with access to Cape Cod Bay. FLAX POND CONSERVATION AREA Off Setucket Rd. in Dennis near the Yarmouth town line. 73 acres of wooded trails around a pond and over hills.
