A letter from our founder
Dear Friend,
Denison Ministries began fifteen years ago. If you had told me then that I’d be writing a letter like this now, I might not have believed you. My dear friend and cofounder Jeff Byrd and I often wondered how long this ministry would continue. And yet, by God’s grace and the continued, faithful support of donors like you, the ministry has grown and thrived. I couldn’t know in the beginning that we would reach so many, but I knew that if we stayed faithful to God’s calling on our ministry, he would water the seeds we planted.
Our mission takes its cues from the apostle Paul’s words in Ephesians 4:12: Denison Ministries exists “to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.”
You’re about to learn even more of the history of our ministry. And while these facts may be interesting, especially if you’re new to following us, know this truth behind the facts: partners like you have encouraged and inspired millions of believers across the globe to live for God in a world that increasingly wants to shut him out.
