WE'RE HERE FOR YOU. Talking with your child or teen about cancer can be difficult and many adults struggle with how to share the news and answer questions. We understand these feelings and are prepared to help you each step of the way. Our Youth + Family service providers nurture health, hope and healing for young people and all who surround them.

Space to Breathe; an adventure based multi-day program for teens impacted by a parent, caregiver or sibling’s cancer.

SERVICES + WORKSHOPS FAMILY NIGHTS Dempsey kids and their parents/caregivers join together with other families impacted by cancer to enjoy a creative activity. Adults have the opportunity to talk about their experiences of parenting through cancer with other parents/caregivers while youth enjoy time with other kids who have also been impacted by cancer - all while creating fun, family memories.

DEMPSEY DOGA Join our Dempsey Dogs for a fun, active yoga experience we call 'Doga’! Families impacted by cancer can learn fun dog-inspired yoga movements through beginner yoga practice. Participants will bond with our therapy dogs and connect with other youth who are going through similar experiences.

SPACE TO BREATHE An adventure-based therapeutic camp for teens who have been impacted by a parent or sibling's cancer. The overnight program gives teens a chance to challenge themselves and build resilience while forging strong bonds with other teens who "get it."

PARENT/GUARDIAN CONSULTATIONS Our team of experienced counselors are here to support you during this challenging time. A cancer diagnosis in the family can be overwhelming, and the conversations that follow can be difficult.

Through our consultations, we provide guidance on navigating tough discussions with your children, along with emotional support and educational resources, ensuring you have the support you need as a parental figure during this journey.
