The five solutions support a variety of reading and learning styles - seating is located near easily accessible book stock and a variety of shelving encourages browsing and autonomy Use the Everna™ Primary Reading range to create areas appropriate for the age-range, space available and book stock.

Reading for enjoyment is a focus area for the National Literacy Trusts Primary Literacy Guide (2020/21) and Waterstones Children’s Laureate Cressida Cowell has launched her Life-changing Libraries project, which highlights the importance of library spaces for primary schools.

Decades of research show a reader for pleasure is more likely to be happier, healthier, to do better at school – all irrespective of background.

Everna™ Primary Reading Range STEP 1. Select your module Cultivating a space in the library that children can activate and own sends a strong signal they are valued and welcome.

Choose from our four pre-defined solutions, with options to create spaces with a considered balance of book capacity and browsing opportunities or offer more stock capacity or more presentation shelving in your space.

Each module has three options: A – optimise engagement by increasing the number of displays and seating options. It focuses on providing immediate access to teens favourite literature.​ B – a balance between presentation and book stock capacity if the space is limited. It optimises the mix between seats, storage and displays.

Add extra elements

Everna™ Primary Reading Range STEP 3.

Select additional elements to complement your selected module arrangement.

Choose from squishy bean bags, comfortable and configurable Claria™ and add extra storage with more browser boxes to encourage browsing.

The graphic panels featured on some of our designs can also be selected here from a selected age-appropriate range.

Claria™ Pick and Mix! Add additional shapes to your module design, to create infinite layouts.

Can be used as a seat or a surface, ideal for collaborative discussion or relaxation, the Claria™ is light and easy to reconfigure by students and staff.

Available in five distinct shapes in four heights – 300mm, 450mm, 600mm and 900mm.

Browser boxes An essential for library spaces, these handy book browsers increase the browsing area of your space by encouraging patrons to flick through materials.

Useful in teen reading areas for magazines, comic books, graphic novels, games and DVD's – these browsers come with either 4 or 6 compartments.

Bean bags A traditional library staple, can you ever have too many bean bags?!

Add additional bean bags to your selected module to increase the seating around the primary reading area.

Choose from a range of bright colours to complement your colour scheme.

Printed graphics We are delighted to be able to enhance your selected module with a range of fun, attractive and ageappropriate printed graphics.

Reinforce your messages around literacy and reading and signpost the dedicated kids areas of your space.

Everna™ Primary Reading Range STEP 3.

Carpet This highly colourful carpet is great for signposting designated reading areas.

Comfortable and made with a thick and soft pile the carpet can be simply relocated when required.

Younger children will enjoy selecting their coloured circle to sit in and can be used as an aid to manage seating larger groups of children.

Cushions Create a soft seating area anywhere without creating a mess using these Donut Cushions. A useful addition to any library or reading space!

Designed to be easy to stack and store on a mobile trolley, younger children will love taking a cushion off the trolley when sitting down at story time.

Provided in a range of funky colours, these cushions can also be used to get children quickly seated in groups.

Everna™ Delivery and Installation No hidden costs. Each of our four primary reading modules has been carefully priced to include delivery to any mainland UK address AND full installation by our experienced fitters.

The cleverly designed modules can be selected and delivered simply, ordered easily and can be installed on-site within a few days, into refurbished or new build spaces.

As easy as 1, 2, 3…

Our modules are flat packed and will be delivered to your site on pallets.

To install our modules, you will need two flat walls and an unobstructed floor – free of radiators, pipe work, light switches so that they may fit flush to the surfaces.

They are fast and efficient, and modules can be delivered and installed quickly - at a time to suit you.
