NORMA'S BATH & BODY

The Body Bakery

Norma’s Bath Norma's Bath and Body was established in 2004. Two words to describe the inception of Norma’s Bath and Body: “faith” and “love ” Those two words are most fitting as we were established in February 2004 This year we celebrate Nineteen years of business! it's a lot of work, but yet rewarding!

Norma’s Bath and Body literally started by faith. As cliché as it may sound, I literally stepped out on faith and started the business I was working in retail and after sustaining an accident, I left my job That was a leap of faith in itself I began crafting, doing research and started making soap. There was a gift in my hands that developed into not only making soap but also other products such as creamy lotions, bath salts, and gift baskets

Norma’s Bath and Body is a love story too. At the time, my fiancé, Stanley, who is my husband today, encouraged me to start my business Stanley encouraged me to start selling Norma’s Bath and Body products on eBay! I did and now I am selling online, in person and throughout the United States Try one of our soaps today; they come in all shapes of sizes.

Norma's Bath and Body is the handmade body bakery huge variety of products to choose from

Welcome wholesale accounts as well

Some of Norma's favorite fragrances are Birthday cake, Cotton Candy, Lavender, Blackberry, Cranberry and Lemongrass

The Background

Pedro and Jerone were two structural steel welders at Central Texas Iron Works (CTIW), who did not get along when they first started working together. They had very different personalities and work styles, and openly clashed over small things. Jerone was a perfectionist, who liked to take his time with projects, while Pedro was more of a go-getter who preferred to get things done quickly and efficiently.

Despite their differences, we were forced to work together on many projects over the years. As we went on, we began to develop a grudging respect for each other's skills and talents. We started to appreciate each other's strengths and learned to work together more effectively.

After working together for seven years, we eventually became close friends. One day, we realized that we shared a love for baking and decided to start our own business together. Jerone’s niece, Britney, helped us come up with the name "O My Cakes and More." We worked hard to get our business off the ground, putting in long hours and pouring all our energy into creating delicious baked goods. We used our individual strengths to create a unique brand that our guests loved.

Despite our rocky start, Jerone and Pedro were able to overcome their differences and built a successful business together. Our journey from rivals to friends to business partners serves as a reminder that even the most unlikely partnerships can thrive with hard work, dedication, and a willingness to compromise with each other.

We asked when they began to get into the baking industry and when did it begin?

“Being primarily raised by my grandma and mom, they would embrace the festivities of the holiday seasons in baking desserts. That sparked an interest, pursuing my goal to share a memorable joyful feeling throughout the year with others,” shared Pedro. We went on to ask if it was a long process to open their own storefront? How did it feel? They shared that in the process of doing pop-up events within a 6 month period, they were offered a location inside the Richland Mall. After they took into consideration what steps needed to be taken to open, they agreed on pursuing their goals, with faith and trust in God. “It made me feel happy and anxious! I actually had low expectations at first. I don’t think the feeling really hits you unless you're in there and things are starting to move,” shared Jerone.

Advice for an aspiring entrepreneur?

“I would say to believe in yourself and be comfortable with being uncomfortable

Staying consistent, knowing that a lot of sacrifices must be made to pursue your goals ”

“I’ll tell them to be ready, put your trust in God and just know that you’re covered Go 100% until you get to where you want, quiet the outside noise because very few will see your dream.

LickYouSilly LickYouSilly PetProducts PetProducts

Lick You Silly Products was created because Barbara saw a need in the market. Her small dogs would get sick from store-bought treats made with processed ingredients, so she began to make her own with all-natural ingredients used in her family's foods. She quickly realized that wasn't sustainable with her busy schedule as an Activewear design consultant so she spent a year doing research on the industry and decided to keep it simple. She wanted a single-ingredient product that was premium, wholesome, and allnatural. She began testing freeze-dried Beef Liver and Chicken Liver and found a supply partner who met her standards.
