The B.C. Greens announced Wednesday that Larry Colero will be their candidate in Delta South in the upcoming provincial election. “In the last election, our party
deferred to Vicki Huntington. Now we’re back,” said Colero. “Other party candidates may say they will represent constituents. But as MLAs, they are expected to vote as a block to satisfy campaign donors instead of their constituents, like approving unnecessary, reck-
less megaprojects to be paid for by untold future generations. A founding principle shared by Green parties worldwide guarantees me the right, if elected, to vote with my conscience and always in the best interests of my constituents,” he said. Colero taught corporate
ethics at both UBC’s Sauder School of Business and SFU’s Beedie School of Business. He also created the first Strategic Alliances seminars for UBC and was moderator for the first two years of its Summer Institute in Sustainability. COLERO: see Page 3
