Among the grant-funded research taking place in the College of Agriculture, Science & Technology:
in National Institutes of Health funding since 2012 has supported the creation and growth of the University’s Delaware Center for Neuroscience Research, including neurodegeneration research related to Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

Dissertation and thesis resources
from the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Institute of Food and Agriculture will go toward a new Center of Excellence in Emerging Technologies to propel smart agriculture through the use of information and communication technologies in the cyber-physical cycle of farm management.

from the U.S. Department of Defense supports the Advanced Quantum Sensing (AQS) Center, a DoD Center of Excellence led by DSU researchers who conduct innovative quantum sensing research to deliver improved position, navigation and timing capabilities in DoD applications. The AQS center offers students a quality quantum science-related higher education program and aims to increase and diversify the U.S. quantum workforce.
