HANDS-ON LEARNING
The Wesley College of Health and Behavioral Sciences anchors the University’s DSU Downtown location, which offers classroom, laboratory and residential facilities, an eatery and a library. Shuttles run to and from the main campus for convenient travel between the locations.
Students in WCHBS degree programs combine their classroom learning with skill building in spaces that include multi-bed nursing simulation and skills laboratories and kinesiology instructional and research laboratories.

Ready to take the next step? Along with your application, you’ll be asked to submit a $35 application fee, test scores and an official high school transcript. Your records must show the following: completion of at least the 19 minimum course unit requirements indicated below with a grade C or better; a minimum GPA of 2.0 or better on a 4.0 scale; test scores of 800 on the SAT (math and critical reading combined), 800 or above (after concordance) on the 2016 redesigned SAT, or a 17 or better composite score on the ACT; and a diploma from an accredited four-year school or senior high school. Test optional is available.

Mathematics Courses must include Algebra I & II and Geometry or equivalent (recommend a fourth, higher math course)
History One (1) World History and one (1) other History
Social Studies Civics, American Government, Economics, Geography or Psychology (2 units recommended)
Science Courses with a laboratory. Must include one (1) or more of the following: Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics
Foreign Language Recommend within the same language. If within the same language, there must be course progression (Spanish I and Spanish II, French I and French II, etc.).
