A LETTER FROM NEXT GENERATION CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE

CO-CHAIRS

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as Co-Chairs of the Next Generation Campaign . With great joy, we invite you to join us in this transformational effort on behalf of Delaware County Christian School. This campaign represents a vital step forward in advancing our mission to educate students who will serve God and impact the world through biblical thought and action.

For seventy-five years, Delaware County Christian School has stood as a pillar of Christian education in the Delaware Valley, faithfully committed to nurturing students with a biblical worldview while providing strong academics and a wide array of extracurricular opportunities. Today, we find ourselves at a pivotal moment. More than ever, families in our community are seeking a Christ-centered education with greater urgency than ever before. As we remain steadfast in our mission, we must also adapt to the evolving needs of the 21st century.

Looking ahead, we aspire to serve more than 1,100 students by the year 2030. To meet this demand and expand our impact for generations to come, we have launched the Next Generation Campaign with a goal of raising $32 million.

As you review these materials, you will see the bold vision set forth by our Board of Trustees. It is an ambitious plan, but it is also attainable if we come together in faith to envision all that God can accomplish through this community. Already, through the extraordinary generosity of our earliest supporters, nearly 50% of our goal has been secured. Now, we are turning to partners like you to help bring this vision to completion.

This is more than a campaign for buildings and programs. It is an investment in people—our students, their families, faculty and staff, and the future Kingdom impact they will make. By joining us in this effort, you are ensuring that Delaware County Christian School continues to send young men and women into the world prepared to serve faithfully, lead courageously, and live out the Gospel wherever God calls them.

With gratitude,

Kevin and Staci

FUND FOR DC

Maintaining the

Present, Fueling the Future

At Delaware County Christian School, generosity fuels our mission. Tuition supports daily operations, but this comprehensive campaign unites the Fund for DC and capital initiatives to drive innovation, growth, and excellence. More than construction, this effort invests in people, programs, and spaces, ensuring classrooms, labs, arts, and athletic facilities come alive with exceptional teachers, resources, and opportunities for students today and in the future.

A comprehensive campaign strengthens DC in three key ways:

• Maintains Operational Stability

Gifts support the people and programs that make our mission possible every day, ensuring excellence in the classroom, on the field, and in the arts.

• Builds a Stronger Foundation for Future Success

A healthy base of support signals confidence, encourages larger investments, and reinforces the value of DC’s vision.

• Ensures a Sustainable Future

Campaign gifts expand and renew our physical spaces while also sustaining the programs and initiatives that will flourish within them.

This is a pivotal moment in DC’s 75-year history. Together, we are investing in a $32 million vision to create innovative, Christ-centered learning environments that prepare students to lead and serve with purpose. As commitments are made, projects will be unlocked and progress will unfold, ensuring that each step forward reflects faithful stewardship and responsibility.

By participating in the comprehensive campaign, you are making one thoughtful, lasting commitment that strengthens both today and tomorrow. Every gift, no matter the size, moves us closer to that future. Your generosity secures the future of Delaware County Christian School and equips the next generation of Christcentered leaders.

DC is developing an ecosystem not just for STEM-minded students. The Center for Innovation and the Arts promises all students the opportunity to access tools that will allow them to explore the world, know it better, solve problems, and apply solutions.

CENTER FOR INNOVATION AND THE ARTS

Where Discovery and Creativity Meet

The new Center for Innovation and the Arts will reimagine the current upper school library and adjoining classrooms into a vibrant, light-filled hub designed to spark imagination, creativity, and collaboration. This transformed upper school wing will serve as the home of our Center for Innovation Programs, featuring a cutting-edge Maker Space equipped with state-of-the-art engineering tools and a professional recording and video studio.

Upstairs, two spacious, sunlit art studios will provide inspiring spaces for middle and upper school students to create and explore, alongside a welcoming resource room for study and support. A new elevator and connecting staircase will ensure the entire space is fully accessible, opening the doors for every student to dream, design, and discover.

LOCKER ROOMS

Equipped for Today’s Needs

With the renovation of the Upper Campus locker rooms, DC is investing in state-of-the-art athletic facilities that will benefit students and teams for years to come. The project includes modern locker rooms designed for comfort and function, an athletic training facility to support strength, conditioning, and injury care, and a team conference room where coaches and players can strategize, learn, and grow together.

Beyond serving our own athletes, these updated spaces will also allow DC to host visiting teams with excellence. Events such as our annual Tip-Off Tournament will now showcase not only the skill of our athletes but also the hospitality of our facilities, providing a welcoming and professional environment for guests.

This renovation reflects DC’s commitment to excellence in athletics and to the holistic development of every student. By creating spaces that foster teamwork, preparation, and care, we are equipping athletes not only to compete at the highest level but also to grow in character, discipline, and faith.

Additional athletics projects and improvements are in the early planning stages. Stay up-to-date with projects by visiting dccs.org/nextgen.

DEMOSS CENTER FOR WORSHIP AND THE ARTS A Community of Worship

Since 2000, the DeMoss Center has been home to countless chapels, concerts, musicals, and community events. While the memories remain strong, the space is ready for renewal. Planned upgrades include a new stage curtain, state-of-the-art sound and lighting, an all-new stage, and renovated backstage and wings. A redesigned lobby will double as an art gallery and seamlessly connect to the Student Union.

I’ve always loved the arts and everything that DC offers within its arts department. Having friends and mentors within the DC community who share my interests helped me to understand how to use the performing arts to glorify God.

These renovations will preserve the DeMoss as the heart of worship and the arts at DC, while also positioning it as a premier venue for performances and events. They will allow DC to extend hospitality to the community and generate valuable revenue for the school.

The pavilion will function as another outdoor learning space on campus, providing consistent shade and weather protection. The value of this space will also extend into the summer months as the pavilion will serve as a hub for DC Summer Programs.

LOWER CAMPUS PICNIC PAVILION

A Gathering Space

A new picnic pavilion will serve as a welcoming hub where students can come together for classes and lunches. This space also offers a place for DC gatherings or community events. Designed as a versatile, three-season structure, the pavilion will provide shade in the warmer months and shelter during crisp fall days, extending opportunities for outdoor learning and connection.

More than just a picnic spot, the pavilion will be an inspiring open-air classroom, where students can engage with creation, collaborate on projects, and experience the joy of learning outdoors.

LOWER CAMPUS GYMNASIUM

A Place to Play, Perform, and Praise

The new Lower Campus gymnasium will be a dynamic space that serves as both a gym and an auditorium. This “gymnatorium” will offer a full stage for performances, a new sound system, and the space to support everything from athletic events to chapels, concerts, and community gatherings.

The facility will also include a handful of classrooms and offices, creating flexible learning and administrative spaces that serve the daily needs of students and staff. With air conditioning and heat, the gymnatorium will finally be a true four-season venue, comfortable and welcoming year-round.

This project reflects DC’s commitment to building spaces that are more than functional; they are hubs for learning, creativity, play, and worship. The Lower Campus gymnasium will give students a place to grow in skill, character, and community, while also providing families with a gathering place that strengthens the fabric of school life. Like the DeMoss Center renovations, these improvements open the door for welcoming the community and generating rental income.

The gymnasium will enrich our PE classes, lunch periods, and the many special events held at the Lower Campus. We are grateful for God’s provision of such a wonderful space for our students to learn, grow, and gather together.

UPPER SCHOOL CLASSROOMS Spaces Designed for Discovery

The renovation of the upper school building will introduce state-ofthe-art classrooms and science labs, giving students access to the tools and environments they need to thrive in today’s world. These updates will create dynamic learning spaces where collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking come to life.

Cutting-edge labs and innovative classrooms will inspire students to explore God’s creation through science, pursue excellence across disciplines, and prepare for the challenges and opportunities of the future. These renovated spaces will not only meet the needs of today’s learners but also lay a foundation for generations of DC students to discover their God-given potential.

RECEPTION AND SCHOOL ENTRANCE

A Secure Campus

The new design for DC’s reception and entrance will ensure a safe, welcoming, and professional first impression for our school community. The existing Lowrie Annex will be transformed into the administrative hub and main school entrance, centralizing key offices and creating a more streamlined arrival experience for students, parents, and guests.

To further enhance campus safety, cement bollards will be added in the DeMoss Circle, providing both an added layer of protection and controlled access to our academic areas. These updates reflect DC’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding our students while preserving the welcoming atmosphere that defines our community.

A secure and thoughtfully designed entrance is more than a doorway, it’s the gateway to a Christ-centered education that prepares students to flourish in every aspect of life.

LEGACY BRICKS

Brick By Brick, Together We Build

As part of the future courtyard redesign on the Upper Campus, families have the opportunity to join in the process with a Legacy Brick. This is a lasting way to leave your mark on DC. Each brick will be engraved with the DC logo and your personalized inscription, creating a meaningful tribute to your family’s place in our community. To honor every household equally, each family may reserve one brick.

Placed in the heart of the redesigned courtyard, these Legacy Bricks will stand as visible reminders of the generations who have shaped DC’s story. With giving levels of $500, $1,500, or $3,000, your gift both supports the future of our school and secures your family’s place in its foundation.

TOGETHER, THESE BRICKS FORM MORE THAN A COURTYARD. THEY REFLECT A COMMUNITY ROOTED IN FAITH, UNITED IN PURPOSE, AND BUILDING FOR GENERATIONS TO COME.

A LETTER FROM HEAD OF SCHOOL & DIRECTOR OF DEVELOPMENT AND COMMUNICATIONS

Seventy-five years ago, a small group of parents gathered in prayer, seeking God’s direction for a school where children could be educated with both academic excellence and a biblical worldview. With only forty-five dollars and a vision rooted in faith, they opened the doors of Delaware County Christian School in the basement of a local church.

From that humble beginning, through the faithfulness of God and the generosity of countless individuals, DC has grown to two thriving campuses. Our mission remains unchanged since 1950: to educate students who will serve God and impact the world through biblical thought and action.

Today, we find ourselves at another defining moment. Just as those before us laid the foundation we now benefit from, we are called to lay a foundation for future generations. Stories will be told of this moment, how we, together, united in faith and generosity, secured the future of Christian education in the Delaware Valley.

We are excited to announce the public phase of the Next Generation Campaign . This campaign brings together the Fund for DC with capital projects vital to our future. This unified effort will strengthen our programs, support our faculty and students, and ensure that our facilities serve as places where academic excellence and spiritual growth flourish side by side.

We believe that buildings are more than structures; they are spaces where lives are shaped, faith is deepened, and leaders are prepared to impact the world for Christ. From classrooms to the DeMoss Center for Worship and the Arts, from innovation labs to athletic fields, every aspect of our community plays a role in forming young men and women who are ready to serve God faithfully.

Now is the time to step boldly with us. We invite you—our alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends—to join in this effort. Your prayers, your encouragement, and your financial support are vital. Together, we will continue to provide an education that is both academically rigorous and spiritually rooted, ensuring that DC remains a place where students thrive in Christ-centered community.

With gratitude,
