John “Jack” Duboss (‘49) lives in London, Ontario. Although he was unable to attend the recent Senior Alumni Luncheon, he did send along a donation for the Brother George Synan Tuition Assistance Fund.
Robert Ricard(SJ ‘54) has two books published on Kindle, A Year in the Luftwaffe and Deep Selection. Dan Jarackas (‘57) lives in Fort Myers,FL. His grandson Paul Jarackas recently graduated from DLS, making him the fifth Jarackas to graduate from De La Salle. In addition to Dan and Paul, there are Joe (‘53), Dale (‘66), and Dan Jr. (‘84). John Oman (SJ ‘57) has bowled on a summer league for several years with fellow Bluejay, Jerry Cullen, SJ ‘59. John lives in Canton, MI. Bob Thomas’s (‘63) grandson Conner Popa is a freshman at DLS this fall.
Dan Zolik (‘64) has been retired for five years and is living in northern Michigan. Dr. Michael Daniel MacDonald (‘98) is currently running a financial practice at the Northwestern Mutual firm in Troy. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Western Michigan University in 2004, a Master’s in Business Administration from Oakland

Fr. Brian Meldrum was one of five deacons ordained on
May 23 at Blessed Sacrament Cathedral by Archbishop
Allen Vigneron, Archbishop of Detroit. Brian chose
Msgr. Gary Smetanka (‘74) and Fr. Tim Birney to assist him in arranging his vestments. Fr. Brian then celebrated
Masses of Thanksgiving at St. Thecla (his home parish) on May 24, Our Lady Star of the Sea on May 31, St. John the Baptist in Monroe on June 7, and St. Paul of Tarsus on June 14.
Fr. Brian is now the Associate Pastor at Our Lady of the
Lakes Parish in Waterford, MI. University in 2009, and a Doctor’s Degree in Health Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2015. Mike will be marrying Lauraanne Klebba, a figure skater and chef, in October 2015 at St. Peter Church in Mt. Clemens.
Ethan Johnson (‘11). and Sean McQuade (‘11), pictured at left, at their U.S. Military Academy West Point graduation on May 23, 2015 Brenden Kudla (‘11), who graduated as a Communications major last spring from Alma College, spent the summer as the radio broadcaster for the Bristol Blues, a summer collegiate baseball team in the Futures League, in Bristol, CT. During college, Brenden worked for two stations, including 1520 WMLM covering the LA Dodgers Single A affiliate, and the Great Lakes Loons, based in Midland, MI. Brendan O’Neill and Nicholas Callebs (‘13) were selected as the winners of the Canjar Design Award for their EyeSphere Project. This monetary award is bestowed once a year to the team of students who have undertaken design projects which benefit society. Both students are in the
