Message from the President
The pandemic crisis of 2020-21 will forever affect every person and organization who survived this challenging year. The impact of COVID-19 will shape the educational landscape for years to come. At De La Salle, we were able to provide in-person classes for most of our students, with the availability of virtual learning for students with health risks or exposure to the virus. Our administration and staff were praised on the safe environment delivered to students, and thanked God daily for the blessings of health.
After a couple of tough years, I witnessed our strong community joining together to continue the tradition of a Lasallian-centered school. With the guidance of a strong board, the leadership team reunited our committed faculty and staff. Our mission continues to be providing the best education through touching the hearts and minds of every young man in our school. I believe we have the finest people who are dedicated to this mission.
We came into the 2020-2021 year with the prospect of a budget deficit, however, with prudent spending, some unfortunate cuts in staff, a strong market, and wonderful donors, we were able to finish with a balanced budget. We finished the year with a record amount of donations. This is a testament of our constituents’ commitment to helping us reach our goals. The number one goal is always to afford every young man who desires to attend De La Salle that opportunity. We remain steadfast to this goal, but cannot do it without your continued support.
Many thanks for standing by the school now and always. We greatly appreciate your generosity and partnership in our mission, and we count on your support to help us. I can assure you that we are working hard every day to make you proud to support De La Salle Collegiate. Thank you in advance for your faith and generosity. We could not do it without you!
God Bless and Go Pilots,
