We have loved getting to know Dylan’s personality and getting a kick out of the way he expresses his thoughts and feelings. He is an older fella but that sure doesnt stop him from leaving Zillow and Issac in the dust when Sara takes him out on the trails.
He’s not the biggest fan of getting vaccinations or blood draws so part of his training will focus on making that a better experience for him and the vet.
Not long ago, he weasled his cute little self into Alyssa’s back pocket as she interned last year and their bond has only grown as she continued her journey here as barn staff. Every grumpy old man needs a cheerleader in his corner!
Paso Fino’s have several gaits that they do: Classic Fino, Paso Largo and Paso Corto-I’m not sure which one we are actually doing but he is super comfy to ride and seems to have fun zooming around” -Sara

But that hasn’t stopped our Summer Interns from working hard! With aspirations of being in the veterinary field, our interns have been having fun in the sun (and rain) this summer learning the ropes and assisting the Barn Staff.
They enjoy picking the brains of all our wonderful vets - taking detailed notes so they can make the most of their experience.
