VISIT ADOPTABLE ANIMALS FROM LOCAL AREA SHELTERS INCLUDING DEER PARK, LA PORTE, FRIENDSWOOD, AND BAYTOWN. ADDITIONALLY, RESCUE GROUPS INCLUDING A NEW DAWN PET RESCUE AND 3 LITTLE PITTIES RESCUE WILL HAVE ADOPTABLE ANIMALS ON-SITE.

THIS FAMILYFRIENDLY, FREE EVENT WILL BE HOSTED AT THE JIMMY BURKE ACTIVITY CENTER, LOCATED AT 500 W THIRTEENTH STREET, DEER PARK, TX 77536. THIS YEAR’S THEME IS ROCK! WOOFSTOCK OFFERS SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE. DON’T FORGET TO BRING A LAWN CHAIR SO YOU CAN RELAX AND ENJOY LIVE MUSIC! WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE.

The Spud Shack is now open in the former location of Lone Star Tacos at 3811 Center St. The owner is Deer Park resident James Thompson, and the concept is a large menu featuring (of course) baked potatoes with over 20 different options for toppings, plus appetizers, soup, seafood platters, salad bar, desserts and more. Don’t forget the “Big Kahuna Challenge” , where you can get free potatoes for a year if you finish the 3-pound baked potato filled with 10 toppings in under an hour.
