Deer Park’s Eric & Myra Delgado have turned an initial interest in beekeeping into a thriving local business called Delgado Honey Bee's. They now sell raw, unfiltered honey that is truly straight from the hive to the jar (no chemicals or plastics ever). They also provide bee/hive removal and hive relocation services. These apiaries also sell beeswax, bee colonies, and provide pollination services for AG exemption.

Art Park Players is thrilled to announce auditions for Hairspray, The Musical! Hairspray is under the Direction and Dance Direction of Ryan Baker and Vocal Direction of Brandon Tanner and is a high-energy musical comedy set in 1960s Baltimore that follows the lovable and determined Tracy Turnblad, a bighearted teen with big hair and even bigger dreams.
When Tracy lands a spot on the popular Corny Collins Show, she quickly becomes a local celebrity and uses her newfound fame to fight for integration and acceptance on the television program. Filled with catchy songs, vibrant dance numbers, and plenty of humor, Hairspray celebrates individuality, inclusion, and the belief that one person really can make a difference.

All City Parks are a No-Ride Zone
City parks are a no‑ride zone for all vehicles, bikes, scooters, skateboards, and skates
Bike& hiketrails are limited to Class 1& 2 EBikes, motor-assisted scooters, & self-balancing transporters. No golf carts or motorcycles
With clearer weather comes greener grass. But remember, blowing or sweeping grass clippings is against municipal code and can hinder the health and function of our storm system. Other prohibited storm water discharges:
Sediment (solid material such as sand, mud, or gravel)
Chemicals
Sewage
Chlorinated pool water
Paint
Fats, oils, and greases
The Sanitation Division has solved this problem by providing an additional service to their curbside pickup. The system is simple:
1.The waste oil should be placed in a screw tight disposable 1 gallon container (such as an old milk carton and up to two containers)
2.Placed at the curbside next to regular household trash. Or
1.Should bring the waste oil to the transfer station on Saturdays from 9AM to 4:30PM. A valid Deer Park ID and a utility bill are necessary.
