You will love the amazing variety of vintage jewelry, glass, antiques and more. They have great gift ideas. Have some vintage or antique pieces of your own? They do accept consignments pieces. The San Jacinto Monument & Museum offers a variety of familyfriendly events throughout the year, including reenactments, festivals, and educational programs. Some popular events include the Battle of San Jacinto reenactment, the Fourth of July celebration, and the Festival of Lights during the holiday season. Check the museum's website for a full calendar of events and plan your visit accordingly. Don't miss out on these fun and educational opportunities for the whole family!

Bird Watching at the Battlefield; 7:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m.; free Every first Saturday of the month, we open two hours early so birders and photographers can enjoy early morning at the site Location: San Jacinto Battleground State Historic Site

July 1:

San Jacinto Family Day: Texas Revolution Paper Dolls; 11:00 a.m. –3:00 p m ; included with the price of admission to the San Jacinto Museum; children get in free with the purchase of an adult ticket. Create paper dolls dressed like people from the Texas Revolution and try on replica outfits.

Location: San Jacinto Monument

July 1:

Boom: Cannon Demonstration; 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.; free Cannon firing demonstration on the hour and half hour. Location: outside the San Jacinto Museum
