Perfect for K-2nd grade, Little Footlighters increases creativity and self-confidence both onstage and off! Through theatre games, rehearsal and performance, students develop basic acting skills and rehearsal technique necessary to be successful in performance. Broadway Bound: Elf the Musical Jr.

In this fabulous performance-based class, young actors will get the opportunity to audition, rehearse, and perform a Broadway Jr musical under the direction of Stefanie Guggenheim. With professional costumes, sets, and sound, performers will feel like stars on Broadway! Auditions for the fall 2021 musical, Elf the Musical Jr (rights pending), will be conducted during the second class and performances will be held at Caruso Middle School. Performers Troupe: The Addams Family!

Dedicated musical theatre students will explore the wonderful world of theatre as they navigate their way through a unique production. This advanced musical theatre class taught by Stefanie Guggenheim, focuses on performance, teamwork, dramaturgy, and the purpose of performing. Students will share their full-scale musical production of The Addams Family (rights pending) at the end of the session at Caruso Middle School as well as at locations around the community. Acceptance into the troupe is by audition only*; all accepted troupe members are guaranteed a role in the production, but no particular role.

Tentative show dates: 12/2 & 12/5 (Caruso) and 12/9 & 12/12 (offsite)

*Auditions for Deerfield Performers Troupe fall 2021 were held in May 2021 but there may be spots available. Anyone interested in auditioning should email Sarah Hall at info@sarahhalltheatre.com.
