The Patty Turner Center is a Deerfield Park District program for adult enrichment in partnership with the Village of Deerfield. Our mission is to support the independence and well-being of adults 50 years and older; to encourage their participation in all aspects of life; to provide programs which serve their social, recreational, intellectual, and physical needs and to further enrich their lives.
Special Events The Big Band Sound of Deerfield “Glenn Miller Dance Party!” The PTC is delighted to announce its new series of themed dance parties as hosted by the Big Band Sound of Deerfield! Under the direction of Owen Marks, join us as the Big Band Sound continues their summer season with a special tribute to the great Glenn Miller! Dance to chart-toppers, “In the Mood”, “Moonlight Serenade’” and of course, “String of Pearls.” Come and hear this fantastic 20-piece big band and dance to the charts that made the Glenn Miller Orchestra so famous! Bring a friend and dance beneath the stars in the PTC’s Members’ Room! Light refreshments will be served. All are welcome!

14th Annual Healthy Lifestyle Expo Co-Sponsored by the DBR Chamber of Commerce
This year’s 14th annual Senior Lifestyle Expo will be held at the PTC. This event will feature a large vendor fair, fitness demonstrations, light refreshments and more! Benefit from a valuable opportunity to talk to staff, instructors and vendors pertaining to senior resources; all at this one-stop Expo! This year’s event will also include Flu shots/pneumonia vaccines (for purchase), free health screenings, and fitness demonstrations including a new Fit & Fabulous dance class! A shredding truck will be onsite between 10:00am and 12:00pm and is kindly sponsored by First Midwest Bank of Deerfield. Please invite a friend!
