Our Ranch

Our goal is to provide the ultimate s for your dream wedding. We c ceremony sites for you and your gue sense of the beauty of Colorado. For you will appreciate the attention to detail as you walk through the meticulously restored historic Barn and gorgeous Homestead. Romance is everywhere - in our outdoor fireside patios, warmly glowing market lights, and beautifully appointment dressing areas. Our Venue was created so that your wedding is a fantastic and unique experience for your guests.

Built because of

Tim and I were engaged a mere and married shortly thereafter. Our own fairytale wedding was the inspiration for turning our Ranch into a special place for other couples to begin their new lives together. My first words upon seeing this Ranch for the first time were, "We have to share this!" And 12 years and a few hundred weddings later, here we are!

Our Ranch

Deer Creek Valley Ranch started its life as a 3,000 acre cattle ranch and stagecoach stop between Denver and Fairplay. According to legend, celebrities, outlaws, presidents, and gold all made their way through our historic archway.

The Historic Ba

Originally built in 1862, the Barn has been fully restored to reflect its old west history, with modern-day comfort and elegance for up to 180 guests.

Barn Bridal Suite

A sweet space filled with mementos of weddings past. A private bathroom designed to accommodate your full wedding gown makes this the perfect space for getting ready, and quick touch-ups throughout the night.

The Bridal Cottage

Brand new in 2023, the Cottage is a private, soothing space away from the bustle of the Reception Barn.

Elegant and comfortable, this beautiful space has quickly become a favorite getting-ready area for our couples.

The Ultimate Mancave

A favorite spot of everyone who visits, the Mancave has a private entrance and a smoking porch for celebratory cigars. Your Groom will love the custom pool and poker tables, foos-ball, shuffleboard, and two large screen televisions.

The Lakeside Gazbo

Perched along a heart-shaped lake, the fanciful white Gazbo and its large viewing deck are a stunning ceremony site for a fairy-tale wedding. Enjoy beautiful views of the valley as pine-covered hills rise up on either side of you.

Main Floor"Dancehall"

A gorgeous combination of rustic and glam, including an antique saloon style bar from 1891, and handhewn floors, and the perfect touch of modern bling through our gorgeous lighting. The Dancehall can seat up to 100 people, with the happy couple seated at the live-edge Sweetheart Table.

The Hayloft

A beautiful space, perfect for an intimate indoor wedding, dining for up to 80 people, or unforgettable portraits.

The Fireside Patio

Popular for cocktail hour, toasts and first dances. Complete with a flagstone patio, market lights, and stone benches for cuddling up by the fire.

The Elegant Homestead

Built in the late 1940's, this beautiful house was built for entertaining. The Homestead is designed to accommodate up to 140 guests, and the Homestead House can sleep up to 20.

The Honeymoon Suite

A comfortable, large space for you and your girls to get ready. Two bathrooms and three lighted makeup tables, this room is picture perfect for those getting ready photos. And when the night is over, the space becomes your romantic Honeymoon Suite.

The Groom's Room/ Queen Bed Suite

A masculine-themed room for the guys to get ready in. And if you have reserved overnight accommodations, the couch turns into a comfortable queen-size bed with an adjoining bathroom.

Our custom-built queen-sized bunk beds with luxury bedding make our Best Day Ever rooms the perfect place for your wedding party or family to end this special day. We can sleep 8 in each bunkroom, and there is a full bath between them. Linens are included.

The Pine Cathedral

The ceremony site is set within an intimate circle of large boulders and majestic pines and provides a gorgeous valley view from the handcrafted Colorado pine benches.

TheDHearth/ uke's Terrace

Bathed in the glow of market lights, these spaces are perfect for cocktail hour with lawn games. The custom stone and stucco fireplace is perfect for first dance, or even an alfresco dining experience.

The Homestead

Gorgeously lit with 12 glittering chandeliers and draped in romantic sheer fabrics, the Homestead is the perfect backdrop for your elegant dinner and reception. The Homestead seats up to 120, and the Portico is perfect for your bar and buffet setup.
