SITE SELECTION CRITERIA

• The main requirement for the site of a residential design is the access to water and electricity without hindrances, transportation, job opportunities nearby, institutions nearby etc.

• Need for ground water availability at about 5 – 10 m below ground level.

• Electrical lines for the whole site through a transmission box.

• Energy effiecient water supply systems like usage of Hydropneumatic system to supply water to homes.

• STP, WTP at rear end of site, sump or bore wells on site provide fresh water on site.

• Provision of motion sensor electricals to conserve energy, thus reducing carbon footprint.

• Access to schools, colleges, educational centres, hospitals, supermarkets, main road access etc.

• ORIENTATION OF SITE

• The wind and sun direction of site.

• Noise pollution on site.

• Views from site – Lake view, site overlooking the road

• Preservation of vegetation on site or replanting based on site planning.
