Home décor manufacturer Uttermost was recognized as Decorating Den Interiors’ Supplier of the Year during the Easton, Md.based interior design and home furnishings franchise company’s conference in St. Louis.

The award, which is voted on by franchisees, is given for exceptional service as well as innovation of products and incentives.

DDI design professionals,” said David Haseley, vice president of merchandising and marketing. “The selection of Uttermost reflects the growing role of accessory sales in our business,” he said. “Accessories finish off a room and help pull it all together into one beautiful design.”

Terry Mullen accepted the award on behalf of Uttermost.

"Our business mission is simple, to make great home accessories at a reasonable price. This has been our objective from the day we started 41 years ago," said Mullen.

Hunter Douglas, Uttermost, and Surya were presented with sales achievement awards for having the highest sales with franchisees. Fabricut was recognized for outstanding growth over the previous year.

“Our LIVV Home Collection covers a wide range of home furnishings products and is the cornerstone of our business model. These four suppliers were particularly outstanding in 2016,” said Haseley.

Haseley said industry partnerships are key to DDI’s continued growth.

“Our partnerships with suppliers across the U.S. and Canada distinguish us in the design business,” said Haseley. “2016 was another year of increased sales. The expansion of our product offerings with several luxury brands that extends our offerings of ‘good, better, best’ range of home furnishing has been a key component of our growth.
