SAFETY & QUALITY GUARANTEE SUSTAINABILITY

To ensure customer satisfaction, we unconditionally guarantee the quality of every product we sell. If a product fails to perform as expected due to a quality problem, we will replace or provide a full refund. Our cake decorations, edible or nonedible, meet all applicable regulatory requirements, including those promulgated by the FDA and the CPSC.

We take many quality and safety measures, some of the standards we adhere to include: • Products that are tested and certified by accredited thirdparty laboratories in accordance with the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act (CPSIA). Our standard for lead content is stricter than the federal regulations. Every toy is tested to the ASTM F963 Toy Safety Standard, including the critical Small Objects requirement (aka Choke Hazard).

• As needed, DecoSets® include safety stickers to inform consumers of important safety warnings. Cake decorators must place them on the cake dome and/or box when delivered to the consumer. Look for the warning triangle symbol in our catalog and on The Magic Of Cakes® book pages.

• Product samples from every incoming shipment are doublechecked by our in-house Quality Control. We use advanced XRF (x-ray fluorescence) equipment to check for heavy metals (including lead) and use the exact same equipment and procedures as specified in the federal Toy Safety Standards to check for physical/mechanical hazards.

• Gum paste items are food-safe and intended as non-edible decorations only. They are kosher and safe for food contact.

• Our edible products are marked with a “Best If Used By” date.

If the product is unopened and stored properly, the quality will remain consistent until at least that date.

• For questions regarding GMO or PHO product compliance, contact a Customer Service Representative.

• General conformity certificates are available through DecoPac.com or contact a Customer Service Representative.

Our belief that everything we do has some impact on the environment influences the decisions we make. As part of our commitment to promoting social responsibility and minimizing waste, we manage our company based upon the below environmentally friendly principles.

Reduce

DecoPac prints all publications on papers that feature FSC® and SFI® Chain of Custody certification (in other words - sustainably managed forests). We also utilize water-efficient fixtures in our facilty to conserve water.

Environmentally-friendly cleaning supplies are used throughout our office and warehouse. Air pillows made from recycled plastic are used in our packages to cushion products during shipping.

Reuse

DecoPac uses rechargeable batteries in most warehouse transportation and distribution equipment. We also donate many of our surplus cake decorations and supplies to local charities to be used as gifts for those less fortunate. Used office equipment is also donated or sold to other organizations to be reused instead of being placed in the waste stream. We are also distributing more sales materials in electronic form in order to reduce the use of paper and the environmental transportation costs associated with mailing the materials.

Recycle

DecoPac has been and continues to be a leader in recycling. Most waste generated by our business is kept out of the waste stream. We recycle nearly 100% of all corrugate and packaging supply materials. Other items that are recycled at DecoPac include: electronic scrap, batteries, cell phones, printer cartridges, printer paper, decorating products, bottles and cans.

Employee Involvement

100% of our employees participate in corporate recycling programs and are educated on waste reduction efforts. DecoPac also offers many environmentally friendly services to our employees such as electronic waste and battery recycling, “Plant a Tree” programs and “Adopt a Park” sponsorship.

Invoice Error Discrepancies All invoice errors should be reported immediately by calling 1-800-DECOPAC. Customer Service will assist in resolving the error. If a credit is issued, the credit amount may be deducted from the related invoice.

Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF) Checks • •

Any NSF check returned will be charged a fee of $30 (or current rate permitted by law).

DecoPac, Inc. will notify the customer when the NSF check is received. It must be made good within 5 days by cashier’s check, money order or credit card. Once a NSF check is received, credit privileges are revoked and all future orders must be paid by COD or credit card.

RETURN POLICIES

While we do everything we can to accommodate your changing needs, there are a few policies we must enforce: 1) All Returns must be pre-approved by DecoPac 2) To ensure food safety, edible products may NOT be returned, except in the case of a quality defect.

3) To ensure product safety, only complete, unopened boxes of nonedible products in undamaged original packaging may be returned.

Such products returned within 90 days of shipment will receive full credit; products returned after 90 days will be subject to a 25% restocking fee.

4) DecoPac will NOT accept returns of seasonal or holiday items or PhotoCake® hardware.

5) DecoPac will NOT accept returns of products not featured in our current catalog.

For prompt handling, call Customer Service (1-800-DECOPAC) for a Return Authorization Number. Note this number on your return along with your customer number.

Freight Claims • Call DecoPac Customer Service (1-800-DECOPAC) to report any problems incurred during shipping.

DecoPac, Inc. notificará al cliente cuando reciba un cheque sin fondos. Tiene que ser rectificado en un plazo de 5 días siendo pagado con un cheque de banco, giro postal o una tarjeta de crédito. Una Vez recibido un cheque sin fondos, todos sus privilegios de crédito serán revocados y todas las futuras órdenes tendrán que ser pagadas con COD (giro postal) o con tarjeta de crédito.

PÓLIZA DE DEVOLUCIONES

Mientras que hacemos todo lo posible para acomodarle con sus necesidades, hay algunas pautas que tenemos que cumplir: 1) Toda devolución tiene que ser pre-aprobado por DecoPac. 2) Para mantener la seguridad de los productos comestibles, estos NO podrán ser aceptados devuelta al menos que exista un defecto de fabricación.

3) Para mantener la seguridad de los productos, sólo podremos aceptar de regreso cajas de productos no-comestibles que estén en su envoltura original intacta, que estén completos y sin abrir. Tales productos devueltos dentro del plazo de 90 días desde que fueron enviados recibirán un crédito completo; si son devueltos después de los 90 días le cobrarán un 25% por honorarios.

4) DecoPac NO aceptará ninguna devolución de productos de temporada, de días festivos o del hardware del sistema de PhotoCake®.

5) DecoPac NO aceptará devoluciones de productos que no estén en nuestro catálogo más actualizado.
