Hybrid Mist:
One of our newest products - Hybrid mist - uses electricity and deminieralised water exclusively. Like our bio fireplaces, there’s no need for either chimney or ventilation. It is good design combined with consideration for the environment.
The fireplace has been developed with a technology that atomizes the water and turns it into steam. The steam can be electronically controlled and lit up by built-in LED lights, which give the illusion of real flames. There are LEDs on both sides of the burner, for a natural effect.
For those who are not interested in heat and open fire in their home, this is both a cosy and sensible solution. Hybrid mist is also suitable for new homes where there may be a dry indoor climate, as it gives off a bit of moisture to the room.
It is one of few models on the market in which water does not condense on the top. That is because the top plate is heated and thus prevents condensation from forming. A special anti-dew Nanocover can be ordered, and is applied to the glasses by the manufacturer.
Hybrid mist is compatible with most of our casings. Among others, the bestseller Montreal, which, with its sharp and minimalistic design can be seen in many of the recently built houses.

An alternative to that is Orlando, which with a simple frame calls a living picture to mind.
Since the model is convertible, one can choose to exchange the Hybrid mist with either an electronic or manual bioethanol burner producing heat.
It is a smart and easy solution that allows you to enjoy the cosiness of the fireplace all year round.
What is demineralised water?
You must use demineralised water instead of normal tap water. That’s due to the fact that it does not contain calcium, salts and minerals, which reduce the growth of bacteria and deposits of such salts in the fireplace.
Demineralized water - or reverse osmosis water - can be bought in several places. You can also buy a filtering machine to make your own demineralised water from Decoflame and BWT, among others.
