Steel frame storage and work facilities Losberger De Boer Hybrid Steel Buildings are engineered to our unique specification. Understanding that no two buildings are the same, our tried and tested engineering calculations ensure that optimum quality and value is delivered time after time.

The steel trusses are formed from high-yield flat plate, allowing us to vary the thickness of both web and flange details to reflect site specific design criteria. The resulting columns and roof trusses are welded using robot welders, creating exceptional levels of accuracy and quality. Our typical structure consists of a steel frame that handles the loads. The structure is stabilised in the direction parallel to the long side using tensioned steel bracing in the roof and wall sections.

The structure is calculated in accordance with relevant Eurocodes (adopted since 1st April 2010) which replace the following standards: • BS 5950-1:2000 • BS 6399-2:1997 • BS 6399-3 1988 All steel supplied by Losberger De Boer is CE marked in accordance with compliance requirements for fabricated structural steelwork.
