BACKGROUND Native to Juveira but studied abroad in Europe for a few years where she got pulled into the derby scene. She loved her derby community intensely and Skypes with her team every week. She had to leave when her study permit ran out before she could find a job and she left her life there to come to Juveira where this sport doesn’t even exist yet.

Lonely for her old life and a bit bored out of her mind with the lack of derby, she tries starting a derby team In Juveira. Rad reminds her of the non-conforming slight craziness of her community and hence she tries very hard to recruit her. She is also a barista while looking for a better job as a Sociology major and keeps plotting on how to return to her old life.

TRAITS Name – Eyra Age – 78 BACKGROUND She was a housewife all her life. She moved to Juveira after getting married to her husband who passed away long before Rad was born. She had one daughter i.e. Rad’s mother who was a skilled seamstress and very much in demand by the local theatre community, who had a child by accident with a rich guy who funds Rad’s life but has stayed practically invisible to them.

Rad’s mother was already terminally ill and died during childbirth, so after that Eyra threw herself into bringing up Rad on her own. However she was always a reserved person - content with her life and didn’t go out and socialize with people much, which is why Judith also ended up becoming a bit like her but perhaps a lonelier and more isolated version instead.

Her cat’s name was Profiterole and he was her closest companion.

She disappears without a trace around May 2010.

She is seen talking to Rad sometimes like a ghost.

BACKGROUND Judith was a reserved and responsible child. She tried very hard to blend in and hated disturbing or interrupting people even accidentally. She was not social at all and managed to dodge social interactions most of the time.

On the rare occasion that she had to be social, she was always exceedingly civil as she was nervous about making a fool of herself and got really good at putting up an impeccable act that was acceptable rather than being able to be herself. She had conflicting feelings about being invisible to the people around her. While she learnt to be content in her isolation from her grandmother, she also felt stifled by herself.
