CREATIVITY IS A CAT WHO SLEEPS DURING THE DAY LAURA MÉNDEZ
Creativity is a puzzling subject. Geoff Maree said in a course that if you can choose what to wear and how to combine it, you are already creative. For some people creativity is a way of life, for others it is something that is far away from them, in this article it is simply a cat.
Creativity is a cat that sleeps during the day... Tom is a cat that sleeps during the day, Tom is always purring, he is soft and fat, he loves to cuddle, but he is a cat, he decides when and where. Sometimes I want Tom to be awake during the day, I want him to interrupt me, to make me move and change position, perspectives, I would love to take Tom for a walk in the

him, but Tom is a cat... He prefers to stay inside, in a place where he feels safe and warm, and I leave him alone because I do not want a scratch on my face, pee in my clothes and a sleepless night. While I was struggling with life, one day I met someone who told me that I

Tom

a
cat,

during the day, Tom is my creativity, a way of thinking, and I decide to train him.
Tips for understanding TOM: 1.Everything is a process, this is a problem

8. Explore the process from information (what you know, what more you can know) to inspiration and imagination to implementation (try! Try! And try!). 9. Motivation is better when it comes from within (intrinsic) to sustain the entire process. Tom does not want to be fat and lazy anymore, Tom needs help, support and other cats to share and exchange his knowledge, in the end it is important to be aware and willing to change, there is not only one way to live with Tom.

Nowadays, in a world with constant changes, it is necessary to consider subjects like creativity no longer as a taboo, but as an opportunity that can be used by everyone, people just need to train the cat.

EMBODIED PRODUCTIVITY - FROM THEATER IMPROVISATION TO BUSINESS
I came across theatre improvisation about 6 years ago, in the middle of what I would now call burnout, I wanted to change careers, fall into a black hole and show up on a beach with no problems, instead I found an ad about theatre improvisation for beginners, and I was able to show up on a beach in the middle of our sketches during our training sessions, I reconnected with life, I rediscovered how to play. I began not only to play in those 3 hours of class, but also to unconsciously apply the steps for a “successful” improvisation in my daily life: accept, say yes and, learn from the failures, be positive, listen to the others, share the ideas. From that moment on, I stopped with the drama and learned this other word: Mindset.
LAURA MÉNDEZ
I first heard the word "burnout" a few months ago. "Do people have time for this?" was the first thing I thought, too much pressure on people's shoulders, just because... Productivity, competition, success, recognition, these are words the world has taught me since I started kindergarten. If life is going to be one burnout after another, I don't want to grow up. The thing is, people keep saying I'm already an adult, so let's start over. Play life, serious …

Everybody has played in life, it is inherent in our behaviour and nature. Play has a non-materialistic meaning, it has a substantial function, it is a need in life and has and unedifying meaning in –action-, it is located in the limbo of pure physical and pure biological (Huizinga, J. 2014). When do we start discussing whether playing is not serious to take life seriously? When we learn how to live by playing, we learn to walk by falling down, to speak by repeating, and to eat by trying. When do we break the boundary between playful living and survival?

Unfortunately, in Maurice's eyes, there is still a gap between art and people, everyone likes it, but not too many are willing to pay for it, for art, but less for craftsmanship. People underestimate the value of handmade work because they can find it in a fast fashion store without knowing what's behind it because they are just looking for cheap stuff. There is still a lot to do when we talk about the awareness that citizens need in terms of coexistence with art, especially with handmade textile art, to give it a meaningful place in society, but if there are people and projects like Maurice and The Wild Knitting Room, there will be reasons to continue and share.
The Wild Knitting Room. The project started with a dream: to have a place where people could knit every day of the week, where they could sit together and share stories, where they did not have to know how to knit, but where there was always someone to teach them. After years of toying with this idea, Maurice was invited to take over one of the empty rooms (190m2) of Breda's central station.
PAG. 9
He found there a place where he could convey not only his work, but also his philosophy of life. The room is full of textile works, on the walls and on the floor, with some places to sit and weave together with those who want to join, you can read in some of the knit works phrases like: "All you need is love", "Imagine I have a dream" and "All you knit is love". In the center of the central station is a red room full of life and stories captured in handmade works. It is a place stop in time or rather, where time has stopped, where it is possible to feel and breathe art. It is paradoxical that in a place like the train station, where people are usually in a hurry, there is a space where it is possible to pause, have a conversation, recognize the other and project oneself into the fabric. "Art, art is freedom," Maurice says, and in The Wild Knitting Room people can experience a touch of that.

UNDERSTANDING MIMA* WITHOUT COLLAPSING WHILE TRYING IT *MIMA: MASTER IMAGINEERING*
LAURA MÉNDEZ
Welcome... This is a map of the Imagineering journey at BUas (Breda University of Applied Sciences) from a person who still alive on the path. If you are thinking of taking MIMA, first of all I wish you the best of luck and secondly I feel for you. I also did not know what to expect when I decided to pursue this program, not only because the information on the website is hard to understand, but also because the information and communication during the program is still hard to understand.
I'll show you a picture below of what the BUas Imagineering journey looks like so you can get an idea of what to expect.

STEP 2 INTRODUCTION DAY: NEW PEOPLE, NEW UNIVERSITY, NEW CITY, NEW EVERYTHING.
BLOCK 1 (Inspiration): Theory, readings, videos, master class. BLOCK 2 (Ideation): Tools and games. Shifting perceptions, here you will explore what it means to embody knowledge while trying creative and playful tools. BLOCK 3 (Implementation): Practise what you have learned in a real case with a group. *Important: You must find a company or project before this block begins. BLOCK 4 (Application Company): Graduation project. Applies Imagineering research as you work on a challenge in a company. *Important: You must find an internship or assignment at the company you are currently working at before this block begins.
During the blocks, there will be sessions on facilitation where you will try out how to lead a workshop and learn how to inspire others while you understand and embrace your skills.

STEP 5 DESIGN ASSIGNMENTS
PAG. 12
While the blocks and the other steps are taking place, you will be challenged periodically when you have to design Imagineering concepts under time pressure. The level of difficulty increases as you progress through the program. - Design Week: a 3-day, well-planned program where you must work with a group to create a concept for an invited company. The program has facilitators to guide you through the Imagineering process. - Hackathon: 3 days of competition where the master group is divided and each group has to create a concept for a specific challenge. This event is organized by the students themselves, with guidance from the facilitators. - Field trip: 2 weeks outside the Netherlands following a full program, while you work on developing a concept for a challenge in the place you are visiting. During the field trip and before you will have to work in teams.
At the beginning of the program, lectures assign you a book to read, understand, and prepare for a workshop at the end. Meanwhile, you are responsible for disseminating 56 hours of Imagineering learning content by giving workshops, attending events, creating Imagineering content, and organizing events to share with the community.
STEP 6 IMAGINEERING LEARNING COMMUNITY
*Important: Do not leave this until the end, you will regret it. **Forget last tip, you will not have time to do it before.
There are 2 types of people on this journey, the first are those who collapse and the second are those who no longer try to define Imagineering but want to survive it.

During the program you will have research classes that will help you write different papers that you will have to work on, and once you have them, the moment has come to understand why you met these strange people on the introduction day.
