Poly Lumber
At Berlin Gardens, all of our furniture is built using only the highest-grade poly lumber. Made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic, this durable material is the secret behind manufacturing lowmaintenance furniture designed to last decades. We use two types of poly in our furniture — both produced by leaders in the industry.
HDPE
High Density Polyethylene, HDPE, is recycled plastic lumber that has become a mainstay of the outdoor furniture industry. Its high strength-to-weight ratio and versatility make it an excellent choice for most poly furniture.
MGP
Marine Grade Poly is a denser alternative to HDPE. This premium marine-grade poly (MGP) can be fabricated to create a more customized furniture design with a thinner profile.
ALUMINUM
Aluminum is a lightweight, strong metal with excellent resistance to corrosion. Due to its resistance to rust and weathering, it can ensure long-lasting performance and minimal maintenance.

Chrome-Plated Fasteners
Unlike other poly furniture manufacturers, Berlin Gardens only uses chrome-plated stainless steel fasteners. These fasteners resist corrosion better than standard stainless steel — keeping your furniture free from unsightly rust stains.
Aluminum Frames
We use strong, welded aluminum frames to provide long-lasting support under tabletops and thicker furniture components. While our furniture is designed to keep most aluminum supports out of sight, those that are visible are powder coated to maintain an attractive, durable finish.
Your Berlin Gardens poly furniture offers more than just a great place to relax with friends and family. It also protects the environment. That’s because our poly lumber is manufactured using 95% recycled content.

FURNITURE AND FABRIC CLEANERS
Berlin Gardens’ outdoor furniture and fabric cleaners give maximum results with minimal effort. Each product cleans safely yet effectively.
Cleaner

Poly Furniture Care and Maintenance
Stain Remover (BG32MSR) 32 oz.
Removes mold and mildew stains for all Berlin Gardens furniture.
*Not for regular cleaning use.
Poly furniture is made from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), a recyclable plastic that never needs to be painted or stained. It will not rot or splinter, and contains added UV protection to resist fading.
Thanks to its resilient properties, most furniture only needs to be cleaned a few times per year. Light colors, such as white, may require more frequent cleaning to keep it looking new. To maintain the beauty of your furniture:
• Do not place flower pots or any items on furniture that will leave stains.
• Do not place hot items directly onto furniture to avoid melting.
• Wash furniture regularly with Berlin Gardens cleaners or non-abrasive soap and water.
• For deep cleaning, spray thoroughly with a non-abrasive cleaner, then scrub the furniture with a soft bristle brush and rinse with warm water.
• If needed, spray the furniture with a non-abrasive cleaner and wash it using a high-pressure washer. Keep the tip of your pressure washer 16" to 20" away from your furniture to avoid damaging the material.
All of our fasteners are made from stainless steel — most of which are chrome-plated and highly corrosion-resistant. However, in extreme conditions such as coastal areas, some corrosion may still occur. To ensure the longevity of your furniture and fasteners, we recommend regularly rinsing it with fresh water.
If properly cared for, you’ll be able to relax in your poly furniture for years to come!

Aluminum Care and Maintenance Guide
Cleaning
Fabric (Slings): All sling fabrics are mold, mildew, and stain-resistant while remaining GreenGuard Certified. We recommend using the steps below to maintain the beauty and longevity of your furniture.
To clean:
- Use the Berlin Gardens Fabric Cleaner or mix ¼ cup of mild dish soap with 1 gallon of warm water.
- Use a sponge or a soft-bristle brush to gently scrub the fabric. Clean the entire surface, rather than spot cleaning. If mold/mildew is present on your sling and doesn’t clean using the suggested process, please clean using 1 part bleach / 3 parts water.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Use the below cleaning solution for sling fabric:
- Use the Berlin Gardens Xtreme Clean or mix ¼ cup of Mr. Clean® with 1 gallon of warm water.
- Gently clean with soft cloth, sponge, or soft-bristle brush.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Aluminum Frames:
Use the below cleaning solution for aluminum frames:
- Use the Berlin Gardens Xtreme Clean or mix ¼ cup of Mr. Clean® with 1 gallon of warm water.
- Gently clean with soft cloth, sponge, or soft-bristle brush.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
Important: Avoid abrasive cleaners or scrubbers, as they can damage or dull the powder-coated finish. Avoid using a pressure-washer to clean the fabrics or the frame.
Touch Up Paint
If your aluminum frame becomes scratched or chipped, touch-up paint can be used to restore the appearance and protect the finish. Color-matched touch-up paint is available through your dealer.
Touch-Up Instructions
1. Cover your Sling /Poly surfaces to prevent Paint Contact.
2. Clean the Affected Area
- Wash the scratched or chipped area with mild soap and water.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow it to dry completely.
3. Prep the Surface
If scratched, lightly sand the area to smooth sharp edges and allow the paint to blend more effectively.
4. Clean Again
Wipe the area with rubbing alcohol to remove any dust, oils, or residue. Allow it to dry.
5. Apply Touch-Up Paint
- Shake the touch-up paint thoroughly before use.
- Hold the can approximately 10 inches away from the surface.
- Spray lightly and indirectly, approaching from multiple angles to ensure even coverage.
- Be sure to spray slightly beyond the damaged area to help the new paint blend with the surrounding finish.
- Apply thin, even coats, allowing proper drying time between each coat.
- Do not overapply, as this may cause an overly glossy finish.
Touch-Up for Speckled Colors
For furniture with a speckled finish, follow these steps:
1. Clean and lightly sand the affected area.
2. Apply the base color, holding the can about 10 inches away from the surface.
3. Let it dry completely. (see Drying Schedule Below)
4. Lightly apply the top color from a greater distance to mist over the base layer. The match may not appear correct at first.
5. Let dry, then reapply the base color.
6. Alternate layers as needed until the desired color match is achieved.
Tips for Best Results
- Practice first on a piece of scrap cardboard to get a feel for spray distance and control.
- When spraying a top layer, hold the can farther away than when applying the base coat.
- Always spray from multiple angles to ensure even coverage.
- Avoid heavy layering—thin coats prevent uneven sheen or glossy patches.
- After Use: To prevent clogging or splotchy spray, turn the can upside down and spray until clear. This cleans paint from the nozzle and tube for future use.
Drying Schedule
- To Touch: 15–30 minutes
- To Handle: 1–2 hours
- Fully Dried: 7 days
For small nicks: Spray some paint onto a flat dish and use a cotton swab (Q-tip) or small artist brush to carefully dab the paint onto the nicked area for better control.
For deep scratches that penetrate the bare metal—we recommend contacting your authorized Berlin Gardens dealer for assistance.
Sling Replacement
If your sling fabric becomes worn or damaged, we recommend contacting your authorized Berlin Gardens dealer for replacement assistance. Each of our items is applicable to replace the slings except for our chaise lounges.

Outdoor Furniture Warranty

Berlin Gardens warrants to the original purchaser that its and outdoor furniture products will be free of original defects in workmanship and materials for a period of twenty (20) years of residential use or five (5) years of commercial use unless otherwise noted in the warranty. The warranty is effective starting on the date of purchase. At its option, Berlin Gardens will repair or replace this product without charge for materials and labor, providing our inspection indicates that an original defect exists. Should Berlin Gardens choose to replace the product, and the product is no longer available at the time the warranty service is required, a substitution of similar performance and equal or greater value will be made. Polyethylene is a synthetic product and may scratch, can fade when exposed to sunlight, or stain after prolonged contact with other substances, all of which are not covered in this warranty. Some expansion and contraction is to be expected during changes in humidity and temperature. The foregoing shall not be considered defects in materials or workmanship and are not covered under this warranty. Stainless steel fasteners are warranted not to fail structurally for the applicable warranty period. Stainless steel may rust in certain extreme conditions (such as coastal areas) if not maintained. This warranty does not cover rusting fasteners or structural failure due to rusting fasteners, damage caused by unauthorized service or repair, alteration of this product, abuse or misuse, normal wear and tear on materials, or any attempt to use the product in a manner or for a purpose other than for which it is customarily intended. This warranty also does not cover scratching or chipping of polyethylene; however, this warranty shall not limit any warranties made by the manufacturer for such items which may extend to you.
Folding Chairs, Folding Accessories & Sling Chair Frames are warranted to be free of original defects in workmanship and material for a period of ten (10) years of residential use or two (2) years of commercial use.
Mayhew Stationary Adirondack is warranted to be free of original defects in workmanship and material for a period of twenty (20) years of residential use or two (2) years of commercial use.
Berkley (Expandable) Table is warranted to be free of original effects in workmanship and material for a period of twenty (20) years of residential use or two (2) years of commercial use. The Powder Coating is warranted for two (2) years, the Berkley (Expandable) Table Folding Mechanism is warranted for five (5) years
Powder Coating on all powder coated components on Berlin Gardens Furniture is warranted for seven (7) years of residential use or five (5) years of commercial use against peeling, cracking, or blistering. This does not include failure of the powder coat finish due to abrasion, including but not limited to abrasion caused by stacking/ leaning/moving the furniture against other furniture/items or scraping against other surfaces.
Aluminum Structural Warranty are warranted to be free of original defects in workmanship and material for a period of fifteen (15) years of residential use or ten (10) years of commercial use.
Swivel Mechanisms and Arbors and A-Frames are warranted not to fail structurally for five (5) years of residential use or two (2) years of commercial use.
Cushions are warranted to be free of original defects in workmanship and material for a period of one (1) year of residential use and are not warranted for commercial use. Compression of cushions shall not be considered a defect in materials and workmanship and are not covered under this warranty.
Sling Materials used in Berlin Gardens Furniture are warranted to be free of original defects and workmanship for a period of three (3) years of residential use and one (1) year of commercial use.
Umbrellas are warranted for three (3) years on original workmanship, the cover is warranted for one (1) year on workmanship. Umbrellas are not warranted for commercial use. Steel Umbrella Bases are warranted for one (1) year of residential use. Commercial use and rusting are not covered by this warranty.
Berlin Gardens makes no warranties other than those which are specifically described herein. Berlin Gardens makes no implied warranty of merchantability or implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow limitations of implied warranty so this limitation may not apply to you. In that event, any such implied warranty is limited to that required by law. Berlin Gardens shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, lost profits or other economic or commercial losses. The sole remedy provided in this warranty is repair or replacement of this product. Any cost of shipping and handling shall be paid by you. Claims for original defects in workmanship or materials shall be made in writing to Berlin Gardens no later than ten (10) days after the expiration of the warranty period at the address below.
Outdoor Fire Pit Warranty
Berlin Gardens extends the following warranty to the original purchaser of its outdoor fire pit. This warranty applies only to the original owner of the Product and is non transferable. The warranty is effective starting on the date of purchase. Polyethylene Fire Pits with a Polyethylene Top are warranted to be free of original defects in workmanship and materials for a period of ten (10) years of residential use or two (2) years of commercial use. A glass wind guard must be installed on Fire Pits with Polyethylene Tops at all times to keep flames from touching the material and avoid melting. Lighting or burning a fire pit without the glass wind guard installed may result in melting of the polyethylene material and voids this warranty. Polyethylene is a synthetic product and may scratch or fade slightly when exposed to sunlight or stain after prolonged contact with other substances. Some expansion and contraction is to be expected due to extreme changes in humidity and temperature. This warranty also does not cover scratching or chipping of polyethylene, however, this warranty shall not limit any warranties made by the manufacturer for such items which may extend to you. Stainless Steel Heat Barrier used on Polyethylene Tops to distance flames and heat from the Polyethylene material are 304 grade stainless steel and may rust in normal outdoor conditions and/or coastal areas. Rusting that does not affect the structural integrity of the Stainless Steel Heat Barrier is not covered by this warranty. When not in use, covering a fire pit with a waterproof fire pit cover is recommended and may minimize but not eliminate the possibility of rust.
At its option, Berlin Gardens will repair or replace these products without charge for materials and labor, providing our inspection indicates that an original defect exists. Stainless Steel Burners, Intrigue Fire Feature and all parts and components for burners are provided by “The Outdoor GreatRoom Company.” The Outdoor GreatRoom Company warrants this Outdoor GreatRoom Product will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year. Stainless Steel parts and assemblies carry a limited lifetime warranty. Slight rusting on burners and components of the burners are not covered by this warranty. This warranty is subject to the conditions, exclusions and limitations described in the “THE OUTDOOR GREATROOM COMPANY OUTDOOR PRODUCTS LIMITED WARRANTY” found on page 18 of the Crystal Fire instruction manual included with a fire pit burner. Warranty claims for Stainless Steel Burners may be made to Berlin Gardens and Authorized Berlin Gardens Dealers but will be processed by The Outdoor GreatRoom Company and be handled according to The Outdoor GreatRoom Company Warranty.
Glass Wind Guards, Glass Fire Gems, Fire Pit Covers and other Fire Pit Accessories are not covered in any way by this warranty.

In the event of a non-warranty repair, you will receive a written estimate prior to any repair work being performed. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state. As defined by federal law, this is a limited warranty.
Sales by anyone other than an Authorized Dealer voids this warranty entirely.
