From the Hope Centre’s February ’24 Prayer Update Hope Pregnancy: Helping churches offer intentionally evangelistic pregnancy support

February 2024 Sharing Christ with women in a crisis pregnancy since 1985 –39,365 women seen, thousands of men, 4,964 trusting Christ and 6,589 babies born!

Gateway has been privileged to see and witness to a number of Muslim families in the past few months

Daniela is 24, from Venezuela. She came to Gateway in early November, ‘thinking about having an abortion’ She was 9-weeks pregnant. She also has two children in Venezuela. After Kenia showed her The Harder Truth video and spoke with her, she changed her mind. Dru Glascott, a ministry friend in Scotch Plains organized a follow-up group in her home. Daniela has been attending. We are excited to see what the Lord will do in Daniela’s life! Pictured here is Dru and Zaida, both who attend Grace Church, Westfield. Daniela only speaks Spanish and Zaida translates. The group of four ladies (all clients from Gateway!) are enjoying this special time in their lives with a church that really cares for them.

Rebekah Collins, Hope Centre’s Director writes this: HOPE's focus is to help equip the UK Church to reach mothers in challenging pregnancy situations with gospelcentred pregnancy support – Christlike compassion for mother and baby, full of grace and truth. Thank you to all who prayed for/helped in our events with Dean. Especially our wonderful HOPE volunteers, Rachel and Eleanor, and all the key local supporters who hosted us and helped to organise practicalities. THANK YOU! Mothers restored in Christ after an abortion, have deeply shaped HOPE's approach. So, it was especially good that some were able to travel with us to share at each HOPE event. These are rarely heard but much-needed voices in our churches.
