Life changing decisions
Maria changed her mind
Maria* found Gateway via Google. She saw Kenia on August 28th of last year. Maria stated that she was separated from her boyfriend and was thinking about having an abortion. Kenia shared the gospel with her and spoke to her of the consequences of an abortion, showing her The Harder Truth video. Maria changed her mind and delivered baby Gabriel two months ago!
Gateway is now open on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 to 9:00pm.
Here’s our current Tuesday evening crew: Tanya, Gio and Ruth.

The LORD will also be a stronghold for the oppressed, A stronghold in times of trouble; 10 And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, For You, LORD, have not abandoned those who seek You.’ Psalm 9:9-10
Nancy* age 18 has been in the America for seven months. She came from Equador. Nancy had a one-time relationship with a 16-year old boy. Now she is pregnant. He told her not to have the baby and has blocked her on social media. She considered aborting even though she’s grown up in a Christian home. Tanya spoke with her and Nancy changed her mind on abortion and asked God to forgive her. Tanya invited her to church and there they celebrated the Resurrection of our Lord together on Easter Sunday! Her baby is due October 5th

FROM THE DIRECTOR’S DESK…
‘But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.’ Rev. 2:4
It’s so important to allow Godly people in your life to have input into your life. They can help you with those ‘blind spots’ that can lead to unclear thinking, false affections, false presumptions, dangerous temptations and finally to outright sin. God examines our affections; what we love the most. Only as we read His Word and talk to Him in prayer can we really know Him as we should. In the past fifty years in America, many local churches have focused on programs and emotions, entertainment and self-discovery, rather than on study of His Word and prayer. They’ve been inward-focused. This has created weak, ineffective believers who don’t know what they believe and can’t see their real enemy (Satan). In place of our real enemy we’ve focused on people, race, politics and being right rather than doing right. Perhaps that is why many Christians are experiencing stress and anxiety and even fear because of the past few years. Unless God’s Word becomes central in our life our families will continue to be spiritually malnourished, we’ll wander from one fad to another, from one Podcast or Zoom meeting to another, we’ll be open to Satan’s attack. we’ll act un-Christ-like or we’ll lose hope.
