WHAT IS AN INNOVATION LAB? The Dean Close Innovation Lab is a space within our Maths, Business & Economics Centre where students from the school and the local area will be offered support with creating a start-up business.

The Lab will leverage the knowledge of cutting-edge experts from a variety of fields to advise on processes such as brainstorming, marketing, funding, idea generation, and business planning.

WHY IS THIS IMPORTANT? The innovation lab is important as it shows our commitment to young people and their tomorrow by showing support and working hand-in-hand with them to bring an idea to life.

Our Innovation Lab will provide a framework for creatively exploring new ideas to achieve different outcomes- a necessary skill in today’s era of digital transformation.
