CLOSE COMMUNITY EVENTS
A Warm Welcome Welcome to the first edition of the Close Community Events brochure. This termly publication is being launched to better inform you, the members of the Dean Close School Community (The Close Community), about the wide range of events taking place each term at which you are very welcome to join us. 2016 marks the 130th anniversary of the opening of Dean Close School and the 125th anniversary of the founding of the Old Decanian Society. I would love to see you at any, or all of the events listed and look forward to meeting you during the year. Please keep an eye out for a host of new whole School and community events celebrating these two milestones.
Two highlights I would like to draw your attention to are the Old Decanian Ball on Saturday 2nd July 2016 and the first Dean Close Golf Day at Minchinhampton Golf Club on Friday 27th May 2016.
