A Warm Welcome Welcome to the newest edition of the Close Community Events Brochure. As ever, it is packed with exciting events, and I hope to see you at whichever of them ignites your interest. The highlight of this year’s OD summer programme will be the chance to have a sneak preview of our new ‘Day House Village’, Phase 1 of our major development programme at DCS , which is due to open in September 2019, while at the same time bidding a fond farewell to the current residences of Field, Dale, Mead and Hatherley. We also look forward to Commemoration and Speech Day, with opportunities to celebrate all that our pupils are achieving today, as well as providing a focus for reunions for former pupils, parents and staff.
