Gary Noll, Deaf NY Mets fan and advocate for better live captions boards at Citi Field, Flushing NY 2023. They had live captions on the Citi Field giant hung video scoreboard, also have it on auxiliary video board in the right fielder. Mets are working with SNY and SNY apps team to get live captions board at the Shake Shack (Burgers) and the fan fest area video board as well as TV concession area. Mets move to Samsung caption vendors this year because of new Samsung giant hung video scoreboard in 2023. NY Mets will host Deaf awareness day on July 30, 2023. The Olive Osmond Hearing Func of NY Chapter will sponsor Mets Deaf awareness. ASL, live captioning service, ALDS, sensory accommodation and others will be provided.
