A few years ago, Gary Noll, a NJ Devils Fan Club deaf member and his DFC team requested live captions on 4 scoreboards or ribbon boards, also available through mobile cap- tioning during NJ Devils hockey games. Of course Seton Hall Univer- sity was involved. Most DFC fans and tickets holders have been aware of the need for closed captioning. All of the planning, discussion and work came together for the recent ASL day at Prudential Center on Sunday, March 12, 2023.
