Cattlemen & Cattlewomen, Welcome to the TJB Gelbvieh/Three T Bull Sale! Last year, TJB Gelbvieh and Three T Farms announced a joint Gelbvieh marketing venture, and this sale is the first fruit of our labor.

Our relationship has evolved over the past ten years or so, and we are thrilled to know and work together. As many of you know, I grew up in Kentucky. When Jason, Phillip, and Johnny Taylor, Three T Farms, became interested in the Gelbvieh breed and reached out to us, it was evident that our families were closely intermingled, as I grew up minutes away from their families. Those family ties and our joint interest in producing quality Gelbvieh cattle lead us to this venture today.

We are currently producing approximately 50 fall calves and 50 spring calves utilizing our genetics and the Taylor commercial herd as recipients. This is a dream come true for me to have an additional recip population to propagate our very best genetics in a higher volume. It is

a great partnership, as their management ability and their commitment to doing the right things coincides with our philosophies.

In addition to the bulls selling in this sale, we will be producing about 30 more bulls for the TJB Gelbvieh Maternal Magic Bull Sale X on November 6th in Chickamauga, GA. We think that the increased number of bulls of the highest quality will allow us to better provide you with bulls to fit your operation. Because we are utilizing only the best donors available to us, we think the quality will increase exponentially over time.

Sale Information.

Location

Three T Farms 733 Berrytown Road Rineyville, KY 40162 Start Time 9:00am ET: Bulls available for viewing.

12:00 noon: Lunch 1:00pm: Sale begins Contacts Todd J. There will be a base price established for each pen. Bidding will begin for each pen starting at the base price. There will be no auctioneer but asking price will increase by increments of $100 bids.

Bidding will continue until no further bid is received. High bidder picks their bull of choice and the process starts over until all bulls in the pen are sold. If no bids for an animal, we proceed to the next pen.

Herd Health All bulls will be accompanied by a valid health certificate for immediate shipment anywhere within the continental U.S. Bulls over one year of age will be accompanied with a satisfactory BSE. Bulls under one year of age without a satisfactory BSE will sell as guaranteed breeders.

Liability All persons attending sale do so at their own risk. TJB Gelbvieh and Three T Farms do not accept responsibility.

Terms & Conditions All bulls will sell under the standard terms & conditions recommended by the American Gelbvieh Association (AGA). A copy of these can be obtained from the AGA. TJB Gelbvieh retains 1/3 semen interest on all bulls selling, unless noted differently.

The Sand Trap mating to the time-tested donor, 914U, has produced true breeding individuals. Read about 914U here. Registered breeders should pay attention to these bulls. If you like thick, powerful, sound bulls with generations of proven pedigrees, consider these bulls. Our mating of 914U to Sandhills has generated some of our most valued animals and current donors, 4101C, 4103C, and sire 4120C. Our hope was Sand Trap would also work and we certainly think he did!

These bulls possess plenty of growth EPD’s combined with tremendous maternal indexes as they are in top 2% PG30 and top 10% $Cow.
