This is just a beast of a bull and has been since birth. He is big topped, big middled and packed full of muscle. He is sired by the performance packed Granite and out of one our favorite cows that everyone will fall in love with when you see her. This is a bull that will add pounds in the fall and be sure to consider his females because he comes from a phenominal cow family. We will be honest though he does not like tight spaces. A nicely made son of Resource, this bull should give you calves with growth, muscle, performance and style. The Resource bull definately added muscle while maintaining a moderate frame for us. This bull stems from a strong maternal cow family. This is her fourth bull calf in a row and not a single one have them have failed us yet. She finally had a heifer this year so lookout when we get her daughter into production. Dam’s Production: WR 6@106 YR 3@107 Linhart

The youngest bull we will offer, we simply saw potential in this youngster at weaning. He is extremely smooth made, long sided, and complete in his design. We leased Yohan knowing that he produced thick made, moderate framed calves and man did that work on our herd. Out of a young 10X daughter who has a ton of growth and performance, this bull should make a super nice calving ease prospect. Steele is an easy keeper that can put weight on your calves. We love this bulls disposition – he is easy to work and loves a good rub down. Steele has a front pasture phenotype - moderate, attractive, clean and structurally sound. His dam is a deep body, medium framed, nice udder cow that calved 4 calves with a 102 AWW and a 101 AYW. We purchased her from the Show-Me Plus Gelbvieh & Balancer sale in Missouri and are excited about what she brings to our herd. Steele himself has a 673 AWW – 102 Ratio, 1193 AYW – 101 Ratio. Bolton

Dandy will impress you with his massive volume in rib and hip, yet is smooth shouldered! This cow bull has calving ease EPDs in the Top 15% and BW EPDs in the Top 20%! Your cows should calve easily and his calves should show explosive growth! You will want to keep his heifers! We may want to collect semen for in-herd use before he leaves. Danell

This is an outstanding Balancer bull with length, depth of rib, big hip, long body, and a lot of eye appeal! He is one of my favorite Balancers in the pen! As you can see – Paygrade’s daddy, BBDM BOLTON Pay Day 45C, gives peaceful calving ease with potential for exceptional growth! Paygrade’s dam, JOB DANELL Sal 09C, is a 1st calf heifer that really outdid herself – putting Paygrade in the Top 4 for weaning weight out of 36 other bull calves! If you look at Lot 39, you will see that his dam, JOB DANELL Sally 23Y, is also Sal’s dam and she performed just like her mama! Good genetics with good udders and sound feet! Paygrade’s EPD profile puts him in a league of his own – CE, BW, YW, TM, PG30, and $COW in the Top 15% with CEM in the Top 3%! The rest of his EPDs, including DMI, ADG, and RFI, are in the Top 50% or better! Homozygous Black (solid black), Homozygous Polled 50% Gelbvieh Balancer with an 85# birthweight (97 ratio), 662# 205 weight (100 ratio), and a 5 for Tenderness! Momentum’s sire, BBDM BOLTON Pay Day 45C, did it again with this bull! Momentum does not have our best weaning weight, but “Boy!” has he made up for it since – becoming our TOP gainer on test! Momentum’s young dam, JOB DANELL Moonlight 43B, has had 2 bull calves so far and they have both made our bull sale! That, in itself, is quite the accomplishment with our strict bull culling process! Moonlight is beautifully uddered, sound footed, and is out of the matriarch of one of my favorite cow families, JOB DANELL Moonshadow 30T. Momentum was properly named considering his rise to Top Gainer in the pen! He is another of my favorite Balancer bulls! He is moderate framed, good footed, long bodied, deep in the rib, clean sheathed, and has a good disposition! His EPD profile puts him in the top for CE, BW, YW, TM, Milk, CEM, Marbling, and FPI! You will want to keep his heifers! Danell Act. BW

Militia’s sire, BBDM BOLTON Pay Day 45c – as you can see by now – has really worked well for us! Militia’s dam, Monarch Sandy Pride P064, is 14 years old and due Feb 17th with her 13th natural calf! Counting the progeny of her progeny, we have 27 active females in our herd that are direct descendants and her first calf, Monarch Sandy Pride S132, became our most prolific donor dam! She is still sound footed with a beautiful udder! If you were to browse through all our old sale catalogs, you would find many bulls from this cow and her family that have made the bull sale! Militia is moderate framed, a little shorter in length than some of our other bulls, but he is deep ribbed and wide topped with a good hip! This cow bull has good CE and BW EPDs with moderate growth and is in the Top 1% for Marbling! He is another bull you will like for giving you good replacement heifers! Danell Act. BW

Homozygous Black (solid black), Homozygous Polled (by DNA test) 94% Purebred Gelbvieh with an 88# birthweight (98 ratio), 788# 205 weight (119 ratio), and a Tenderness of 4! His name is to the point, as he belongs to our daughter, Teale, and he will literally be helping her pay for nursing school! My Tuition is another BBDM BOLTON Pay Day 45C son that flat out works! My Tuition’s dam, MCFG TD Mya 210T, has already calved this year (Jan 27th) giving Teale a fine 87# heifer calf – unbelievably moving her calving date up 3 cycles (58 days) from last year! Mya is still beautifully uddered and sound on her feet at 11 years of age! She has produced 3 AI Sires including JOB DANELL TD Chico Loco 28Y, JOB DANELL TD My Man 3Z, and JOB DANELL TD My Fortune 3B – and My Tuition shows every indication of becoming another! My Tuition has exceptional EPDs – CE Top 20%, BW Top 10%, CEM Top 20%, and Marbling Top 20%! He is a larger framed bull (approx 6.5) with a clean sheath, clean front and a lot of neck extension! He is big hipped and long bodied with excellent feet! Creating the perfect bull always has challenges and the one thing we find less desirable with him is that he does not like being singled out. He is fine in a pen and you can comfortably get within 5 feet of him, but becomes nervous when alone. He really does not belong in a single bull herd. Interestingly, his parents, Pay Day and Mya, are both a couple of the calmest animals I have ever been around! My Tuition’s heifers will be sought after for their milk and perfect udders! We plan to collect this bull for in-herd use before he leaves the ranch. January 2017 American Gelbvieh Association Non-Parent Gelbvieh Average EPD’s

Chief is yet another great bull calf from DDBM BOLTON Pay Day 45C! Chief’s dam, BRTV Tiger Lilly T21 ET was purchased at the Billings N.I.L.E. nine years ago. She has put many great replacement females in our herd and other purebred Gelbvieh herds. Chief is one of the youngest bulls we have ever put in our sale. To earn this spot as a young bull, they must perform as well as our older bulls. As you will see, he fits in with the bulls that are 2 months older! He proves his dam’s reputation for producing Top performing animals. Chief’s EPDs are CE Top 35%, BW Top 20%, and Milk and Ribeye Top 30%! Chief is a big hipped, moderate framed, clean sheathed, long bodied, and eye appealing bull that should put good replacement heifers in your pasture!
